We were staying at the nearby Top Rafting Rooms and this restaurant was the logical choice. We didn't regret it. Very fast service, huge pizzas, great calamari, great beer, very nice staff. We went every evening of our stay in Bovec.Recommendation: Calarmis Tris and Pizza Poletna with extra crudo

...in this place at over 1600 m altitude. Typical Austrian, decoration and cuisine. Nice sunny terrace. Great professionality and attention to customers. Try the Grost'l (potatoes, speck, sausage with a fried egg on top) and as a dessert the traditional Kaiserschmarren (one of the best tasted in Austria). Highly recommended.

Some years ago I visited Ristorante Da Michele and was not impressed. As there are many good restaurants on the SS13 between Tarvisio and Udine and even some excellent restaurants, the need to revisit Da Michele during our trips in the Friuli was not apparent. However, this time we resolved to give Da Michele a second chance and really try to like the restaurant without prejudice. I have to report with regret that it was no good. The pizza had a flat taste and a tough base, the sort of quality we expect from a pizza joint in the Netherlands and what they did with my favorite dessert, panna cotta, I will never know, but I know that the dish gave me indigestion. Furthermore, the service of the staff was again surly and chaotic. I don't think I will give Da Michele a third chance.

I like the place you have a breathtaking view over the mountains and at the same time you may have some Italian dishes the only week point is, it is very touristic, the kitchen mediocre, the real Italian Service and friendliness you may find in Nabucco in Tarvisio, just go there you will find the difference.

Somewhere close to the final descent of one of the red tracks, you will find this restaurant parked to your left with plenty of tables outside and inside. Getting to this place might be a little challenging for someone that is really starting to ski. Luckily, I got some really awesome instructors (my wife and father in law) and after a few days, this track was one of my favourites; with this restaurant one of those we used frequently while using the tracks. Here you will find a lot of Slovaks and Czechs eating (the staff tends to be Slovak) which will take care of you and tell you a series of funny jokes. Now, you are probably reading this looking for food reviews or the restaurant review as a whole. Here it goes:The food is quite tasty, although the menu is quite limited (in comparison to other restaurants in the park). We had chicken schnitzel, salads, goulash soup and the goulash dish. There are a few Czech/Slovak dishes and desserts and that is all. I particularly liked the food and was pretty good, although if you are someone that is looking for a more refined menu, you should be looking to go to a different restaurant. The attention and service was pretty good although it can get a bit overcrowded towards midday (a big bulk of people will be getting here just before midday to get the most out of their days). My recommendation is, get an early bite before going down the slopes. You will save some time and enjoy your stay a lot more.

Stopped here for lunch after rafting. Nice outdoor patio area with ample shade. Great sandwiches (chicken and veggie) served with fries. Not sure if the menu explained that the veggie is not a âveggie burgerâ. It actually fried cheese with lettuce, tomato, pickle, etc. Both sandwiches also came with s side of BBQ sauce which was delicious! Also tried mushroom soup and a salad. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Service very friendly and efficient. Prices were standard for the area.

Modern, unique cuisine with a touch of creativity, which uses local ingredients. The Dobra Vila offers ready-made menus varying according to seasons. In spring we offer you French crème potatoes, scented with wild garlic, green asparagus spread with homem
It is charming with tasteful details, spectacular food and wonderful view of the nearby mountains. All this complemented with a brilliant service from the staff, so much that you gave us a cell phone charger because our universal adapfor did not work in Slovenia and even borrowed a vehicle while they took us another car rental company for having ruined the one we brought. definitely a 100

We were looking for somewhere pretty to stop after coming over the Predil Pass and then round some of the Italian Julien Alps.We did not want lunch as we were due to dine out in the evening but were looking for coffee and a cake.I spotted the turn off, and we drove in an unpromising entry from the road into a pretty pool, with two perfect white swans gliding around on fish-filled waters. It was a beautiful day, the Signora serving us showed us to a pleasant table and then showed us what we could have. We decided the pick-me-up of a tiramisu was just what we needed: it and the coffee was perfect. Friendly service with a lovely smile.Bill less expensive than we anticipated for such surroundings. Clearly popular with Italians, Germans and Austrians judging from the conversations around us.Would love to go back for a meal if staying in the area.

Thancks to a friend,I discovered this restaurant.Everything is prepared in house, there is no written menu then, but a friendly waitress which explains you every dish. Lovely!Prices are low, quality is high.I hope they won't change this trend.I strongly recommended this place to all the one I know because it deserves. Congratulations "La vecchia latteria"!!
