Minimalist elegant interior, friendly service, wonderful dishes with brilliant presentations.Try the "traditional menu" or select from the menu. The choice is kind of limited, but each dish is special, well presented.I have advised the chef to increased a tad the salt, but I am sure many would not agree with me.I will go back soon.Grazie per averci scelto e per averci recensito signor Felipe. Ogni critica per noi è importante perché il risultato finale lo stabilisce sempre il cliente. Speriamo di poterla riavere come ospite. Saluti da tutto lo staff

Excellent wine and beer selection served with fresh sliced meat and cheese, in the classic tradition of the aperitivo from piemonte. Fantastic flavours and atmosphere. Owner and staff are super friendly and professional. Perfect to meet friends or for a romantic date; it is a spot not to be missed as rare to find a place which welcomes its guests in such a way at all times.

L' Escalier opened in 2002 and it's a "pizzeria-restaurant" where you can savour the purest taste of the Italian cuisine surrounded by a stylish environment that is a real reference in restaurant design. L'Escalier is in Pecetto, on the hills behind Turin
L'escalier is a lovely pizzeria and ristorante in the heart of little Pecetto Torinese. Open for lunch and dinner; reservation recommended for dinner. Great menu, all sorts of items to choose from, they do the best GF pizza we've had so far in Italy (but only for dinner; if you want GF pizza for lunch to need to call ahead so they have time to fire up the oven). Service very good, prices very reasonable. The other day I left my prescription sunglasses there, realized it after I had left town...I called and they had them waiting for me to pick up a week later. These are the loveliest people--Grazie!!

I was invited by a business associate and fried to Fra Fiush. The place is designed like a home with wonderful pictures on the wals, pastel colors painted, and very pleasant seating tables (not too crowded). The waiters were exceptionaly knowledgable, up to date with the chef's specials, and recommended a great local wine. The dishes are mainly local specials, some of which I had never had before, but all were wonderfull, tasty, rich, and pletfiful.Way to go Fra Fiush (he's dead for 300 years..but I dont know the owner's name). After a bottle was empties - life became even more wonderfull.Thank you!Eli

I have been here more than once with my family, well, what to say? it is the perfect place for us. Nothing in Turin can beat the service and the quality of food you can find here. The menu follows the season changing and the different dishes are always well prepared. An additional note must go to the service, which is always nice and well prepared on food and wine. It is always a pleasure to come back home. Thanks La Madia!

EXPENSIVE.....Although it was the best fried pizza I have eaten,( Calzone Fritto ).....all other food ordered was nice too, but 12 euros for a focaccia with crudo and burratina was expensive. Also 11 Euros for a plate of penne with tomato and mozzarella sauce was way too expensive. No charge for the "cover" but with the restaurant prices they are more than covered for not adding that fee onto the bill. The first time also that I have ever had to wait 15minutes for a cashier to arrive and pay the bill.

We've eaten here now three times, and each time everything has been top notch. Very fresh piedmontese ingredients with a bit of a twist (not every day you find fresh coriander in Piedmonte). You can sense the love and curiosity towards cooking. We've sampled both seafood and meat and this restaurant can truly deliver both. Stylish, cosy interior and good service. Owner speaks good English. My only wish is that they would start serving lunch menus during the week and the wine list still needs little work...

We recently had one of the best Christmas lunches ever ... at this beautiful Art Nouveau jewel on the edge of Turin's lovely La Maddalena park. The food was a perfect balance of exotic and traditional (including deep-fried almond-coated shrimps, mandarin sorbet to clear the palate, melt-in-the-mouth braised beef), the wines delicious and the service efficient, friendly and accomodating. We love this getaway on the hill. We come for cosy winter brunches in front of the roaring fire and for lazy summer drinks on the garden terrace. Bar food includes sweet and savoury crêpes, the ice creams are home-made (and you can taste the difference), there's a secure car park and a safe play area for children away from the city smog. And the proprietor is like an attentive host, ensuring the well-being of his guests.

We were driving out of the craziness of Torino when we stopped by this restaurant. We had no expectations and were amazed by the service and food. The menu was quite rich in flavors and the service just perfect. Anything we wanted was possible to accommodate. They surprised us with kindness and good food so I can only keep good souvenirs of this place.
