After having missed the usual Italian lunch hours once more and looking desperately for a place to eat in the early afternoon, this was the place where we stopped. Placed directly at the plaza in Valdobbiadene, they have a very nice little wine and prosecco menu. They offered us Piadine and a platter with mixed cheese and ham/salami. Very delicious! Nice modern interior, very friendly staff, tasty prosecco and food. A place to recommend!

This is a very nice little restaurant with a very friendly and warm staff. Across the street from the restaurant, they have a terrace area overlooking the beautiful Prosecco wine fields. You have to be VERY careful exiting the restaurant because one step out the door and your on the street! It was too cold when we were there to use the terrace but my wife and I, and another couple, enjoyed this little restaurant so much the first night that we went back again the second night in the Valdobbiadene area. They have a limited menu, at least the Sunday and Monday evenings we were there, but that was okay...the food was good, the service excellent and the Prosecco outstanding. The prosecco is made by the father of the woman who owns this restaurant. It is made in small but high quality batches. You can buy bottles of the very good prosecco to take with you. I had eggplant one day, and anchovies with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes another (I think...it's a bit fuzzy now!). Of course, there is great bread, Italian cold cuts and other things. One of the wives had roast chicken one night and one had a salad with chicken breast on it. It's a local hangout but we were made to feel very welcome although we were tourists. I would love to go back in warmer weather to take advantage of the terrace seating!

Gita domenicale in Valdobbiadene, arriviamo all'Osteria senza prenotare e il personale molto cordiale ci trovano un posticino dove poter mangiare e godere della vista incantevole sulla valle. La cucina casalinga e genuina preparata con cura,il personale sempre attento e simpatico ti accoglie come a casa.Tutto molto buono e se vi trovate da quelle parti non esitate , ne vale veramente la pena !!
