Charming coffee shop in the centre of Asolo. Loved the marble tables and the traditional chairs... it opens late like most proper Italian coffee shops.....so much charm in the place. It is a hang out for an icecream, after dinner drink or just an espresso. Coffee was excellent too. A nice place to chill out and watch the world go by.

What a surprise. We were recommended to go here and have dinner. It was their last open night before their yearly holiday and the place was full, we got the last table for 2.Arrived and seated we decided for a 3 course meal, he: tartar and her:filled red onionsand we both had fish for main course.Dessert I can' t remember but it was , as all the other dishes really good. We had coffee and the most wonderful petit fours was served with it and we ate it all.Forgot to write that after ordering our meal a big tray was presented with small starters on the house and a spritzer to go with it.We had a lovely meal and it was not a Osteria in the traditional Italian way, but a true gourmet restaurant we visited. If you have the opportunity to visit, do so it is out if this world. And no regrets.

La Terrazza is an outdoor livingroom with a gorgeous panoramic view on the historical centre of Asolo. The fine cuisine offers a selection of meat and fish plates, plus a special menu with vegetarian proposals, based on the classic local season food, and
Visited after walking up the hill to the castle. We couldn't go in as it was in restoration. Sat outside on the balcony. Lovely views. Staff were very attentive and came at the table often enough to make sure we have everything we wanted but not too often to make us uncomfortable. Good was just incredible. My husband had did and I had beef. Both cooked to perfection and the sides were really nice too. Acceptable price for dinks as well (we visited after going to Milan and Venice so the price and quality of the food compared to those places was exceptional). Hopefully will return in the area as I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again as I really enjoyed their take on sweet asparagus and the dessert that looked like a fried egg.

We returned to the Veneto and hastened to get a reservation at this spectacularly sited modern trattoria, a beacon of good taste, originality, friendly and excellent service, superb quality and unforgettable culinary delight. If only it wasn't a 9-hour plane ride away from our home. We'd be here twice/month!

This restaurant is located outside the old town of Asolo - but it's worth the extra kilometers. It's absolutely not touristic! When we came for lunch the restaurant was crowded by locals - and they know why.The Pasta, excellent, the Tagliata prepared to perfection and the Tiramisu one of the best I ever had.Avoid the restaurants inside Asolo, instead drive here to have lunch!

Cucina veneta
Well, let's start by saying that the menu's not in English, but the owner speaks very good English and will promptly translate the whole menu for you! Very kind lady. The restaurant, is a little out of the way, but worth going to. Nice, quaint, romantic atmosphere, cosy, very athentic Italian.Good cuisine overall, also some special dishes from the area, worth trying!Great Grappa selection.

I was in Asolo last weekend and discovered that Ca' Derton is closed in the centre of town and has reopened as Locanda Baggio just on the outskirts of Asolo. Ca' Derton is the name of the house where the restaurant was located for nearly 20 years, so they
The service was impeccable with the young woman carefully explaining choices and recommending excellent, reasonably priced wine. An amuse buche to begin, followed by beautiful wooden tray of bread and breadsticks. I got a salad, which was huge and very fresh. Suckling pig was superb. No room for dessert but did enjoy complimentary small mousse. Stunning from start to finish.

We were recommended to be there for their barbecue evening, which we did.Outstanding landscape over Montebelluna, but I have to be honest, the barbecue was good but not exceptional. Maybe I was unlucky, but I expected more in terms of quality and quantity. Positive overall though.
