Been there after reading the reviews here and really can't understand what's is it all about. Over seasoned meat, oily and fatty. Huge disappointment, very expansive for what you get. Speck Stube is always a great time. Beer is great, the menu is simple yet very good... stinko di maile, pollo arrosto con patatine fritte are my favorite with a side salad of course.... can't go wrong! Summer time you have the calcietto outside as well which always keeps us entertained!

I've been going to Genzianella on and off for more then 50 years. I witnessed highs and lows but always appreciated the family atmosphere and the traditional food. The last few years were definitely the best, making this place our favorite in Madonna and as a matter of fact the only one we go to for regular meals. Whatever you choose don't miss the "cavolo cappuccio" simple but special!

We ate a late lunch in this restaurant. Lunch orderder from normal menu. It was good, even not very cheap. Good service and good quality.
