We went there after the comments on tripadvisor. The staff is very friendly and helped us right away, but the food was bad. Maybe I took the wrong dish, but it seemed nothing like what I read here. I had wraps with avocado, but the avocado seemed to be overdue. We also had carpaccio, but there was way to much on the plate to make it tastefull. My boyfriends pizza (oink oink) was ok. Despite risking some sort of subtle intimidation by the management who responds to review criticism with a degree of aggressiveness and outrage, I have to say that my expectations were higher after reading reviews on TA. Clearly food didn't live up to them. The pizza in particular I didn't like. Dough was soggy (okay calzone tends to retain moisture inside), but even the ingredients were low quality. Cannot complain about service however. Rating it poor would be unfair but average would be too much. 2.5 stars for me. If you're a tourist you'll probably want to visit once and that is it.Dear GOH77,thank you for your review.We are sorry that your expectations were not met, and that you didn't like our pizza; thank you for the words about our waiters.But I can assure you for sure that we use the highest quality ingredients.The reviews are useful when they are true and the result of a real experience. Out of town a little but great food,service and inexpensive. Could only find one waiter with a little english but we got by fine - bring a phrase book along or learn some Italian. I had a great meal and the staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we only made the trip on our last evening but I will be back the next time I'm in Riva. For me our best meal in Riva.

I liked that this restaurant is affiliated with an Eco program where they try to conserve as much water as possible, reduce waste through not using single-serving packaging and with energy efficient light-bulbs. We opted for 2 take-out pizzas and were not impressed by all the hype surrounding the place. They were average pizzas and overpriced. We found much better, very close by, and another we really like in Arco.

Wonderful atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Family ran restuarant.We first visited when our hotel booked us a table, we had tabel number one, which was a perfect spot inside the restuarant.We fancied something simple after a week of fine dining, so went for the scallops and lobster gratin followed by lasagne. We asked for a local red wine, which was wonderful.We enjoyed it so much we went back two days later.Thoroughly recommend a visit for great home made italian food.Dear guest,we can't thank you enough for this amazing evaluation and for choosing Ristorante Pizzeria Leon D'Oro.We are glad that you have enjoyed every italian food, receiving such review confirms that we are working hard and good.We can't wait to see you soon, best regards from all the staff.

We had pizza, pasta and risoto. All were tasty. especially the pizza was great. The price are lower than i other restaurants (the Margharita is 4,80 E for example). The staff were ok. Interier is nothing special, but also ok. You cant seat really outside, but some part of restaurant is partly without roof.Thank you for the nice review mr. Pavel! Iâm happy that you liked our food!I take this opportunity to inform customers that the pizzeria will be CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY ! We will be open again from Thursday, September 19th.

Visited this place twice whilst holidaying in Riva this year. Both had risotto for our first visit and then pasta for our second. All four dishes were just stunning! Service is very welcoming and the place has a nice atmosphere - we sat inside both times although the outside space also looks good Will definitely be returning next year - some of the best Italian food weâve ever had .... looking forward to trying some other dishes next time Donât miss this place - you wonât be disappointed

When I was in Riva La Garda this week I looked up TripAdvisor for a restaurant and booked this restaurant. Wonderful, an enjoyable meal and a good and friendly service too. Also nicely decorated and good value for money. The meat I had was just perfectly prepared. One word of complaint tough, please invest in a good air conditioning. With 32 degrees outside, it was even warmer inside. Else, perfect for a night out. Hi, thank you for your suggestion :) your review help us to grow and improve our service. Is very important for us. This friendly restaurant and bar is tucked away in a side street of central Riva De Garda. We dined there as a family of four and had a great meal. My daughters shared a Pizza (â¬15), as we were advised that sharing is the way to best enjoy the thick and rich base. I am an avid pizza baker and found the dough (risen over 48-72h) to be very tasty and special. I had the truffle risotto (â¬14) and my wife chose the salmon (â¬15). All dishes tasted incredibly good and cooked to perfection. My wife and i also tried local white wines by the glass, which were wonderful. There is also a range of very interesting local artisan beers available, which are worth a try. All four of us also shared a tasty meat/cheese platter and 2 great Tiramisu. The overall bill came to â¬91, which is about â¬10-15 above average for a family-of-four meal in Riva. But in my view it is absolutely worth the additional money. Service was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Locals stopped by for a drink and it was great to see community appeal of this place.
