We looked at the Trip Advisor map and thought this was on the outskirts of Molveno .and set off expecting to find it quickly . After a walk of 15 minutes with no sign of the restaurant we turned round, went back and looked at the map again on our tablet. Next day we set off again and asked some people en route if we were indeed on the right road. It took us a good hour's walk ( in reality and hour and a half) to reach it from Molveno and we found the last part up the steep hill hard work.It was a fort built by the Germans to keep out the French. It is what it is - a simple restaurant which provides basic decent food and drink for walkers i.e decent pasta, sausages with polenta . It has lovely views of the lake.

We have been coming to Don Pedro's now for three years. We are never disappointed! The pizza is really good, the service pleasant and the prices good. There are some good home made daily specials. Ask what specials the chef is preparing for the day before ordering. Nice atmosphere and nice folks that own the restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Toblino is simply a must when you are in the area. Not only is it in the most beautiful moated castle, but the interior is stylish and welcoming. Owner and chef Stefano is a very competent restaurateur. We have had many fantastic meals here and not once have we had even the smallest reason to complain. The food is fabulously prepared, stunningly presented and served with a smile. Donât miss this one, it is worth the time and the money!

Ate lunch here with my wife, my cousin and his uncle. We had a local smoked salami with various local cheeses for an appetizer. For the first course, we had two different types of gnocchi. For the second course, we had local venison cooked to perfection two different ways (grilled and roasted). All of this along with a local red wine. Everything was perfect. Food was very delicious, staff was extremely friendly and the place was packed with people. You must try this very good restaurant in a very small town called Poia just up the hill a little from Ponte Arche!

I came here last week for a wine tasting experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady who gave the presentation was very friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful. We were given a good selection of high quality wines to sample, along with local produce - ham, bread, cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinegar - all of which were of an extremely high quality and very tasty. The atmosphere was comfortable - we were sat at tables rather than standing up for this experience, which was very welcome after a morning of walking around the Christmas market in Trento! There was of course an oppurtunity to buy the products we had tasted, as well as the other products they produced, and I ended up taking 2 bottles of limoncello, 2 bottles of balsamic vinegar (the best I've ever tasted), two bottles of Vino Santo and 2 bottles of another dessert wine home with me. :) I saw in the new year with a glass of their delicious limoncello! I only regret not buying the olive oil as well, but it's an excuse to go back! Also, the advice we were given in relation to the olive oil has helped me know what to look out for when I next purchase olive oil.

We had a unforgettable lunch, with different types of home made pasta, and very special meat. Highly recommended when you are in the area. The owners are very kind and open. In the back side there is a small lake, nice place for walking, after visiting the restaurant.

I have nothing in principle against very basic cuisine, which can sometimes deliver great flavour, but here I found it truly sad and loveless. An overcooked pasta with tasteless to unpleasant condiment was the nadir of the meal. Apart from pizza, choices are very limited (e.g., not a single fish option, in the region of trout and arctic char, of many lakes and torrents), and definitely not because of a focus on quality. But at least food prices are commesurate to the quality, that is, modest. On the other hand it annoys me that, in a place stuck 30 years back in terms of cuisine and structure, they charge drink prices (beer and water) similar to those of smart city bistrots, i.e. many multiples of cost. This huge mark-up is in addition to the bread and cover charge, for low quality bread and I wonder for which cover.Nice views. Upleasant music which I found out of place in a mountain venue immersed in nature. The "tent" just outside acts like a greenhouse and it is not recommended on hot days.

Not to options in this small town but highly recommended to visit this place for lunch time and seat outside.Evening service includes Pizza but nothing beats the surroundings and atmosphere at lunch time.Interestingly enough they speak very good English over there.A must if you are visiting this small town .

The location is really perfect. If you start hiking in the Brenta very early you look forward to eat there after the track. We have been there 3 times out of 4 possibilities. The pasta various each day and we enjoyed the familiar atmosphere. The sweets afterwards are the best ever. The family is so friendly and explain everything. You can go by feet from San Lorenzo but with the car is much better.
