In the centre of Campitello, on the ground floor of Hotel Ladina, you find "La Stua de Macoch" restaurant. A nice and warm atmosphere will welcome you , while you'll be served lovely, delicious dished by the local tradition. Possibility to ask for gluten
On the off chance, as I had left it late to book somewhere for dinner, I popped in and asked for a table for four, fortunately there was availability. This is a great wee resturant, there are at least four rooms, all, in varying degrees of formality, with the local occupying the tables and room nearest the door, all the way to the rear room which is very formal (where we ended up) - the staff were welcoming, friendly & helpful (helping me with my Italian a few times). The service was the best we experienced over the week and the food was really good, so good, in fact that we re booked another table for our last night, which again, did not disappoint.Try the venison for mains and the tiramisu for dessert (it's to die for).Tell them I sent you, see if you get a discount :)

Was recommended to try pizza there as it is considered the best place for it. And yes, it was really worth visiting. No problem with finding a table, the waiters extremely friendly and nice, the atmosphere is beautiful, splended decorations. The pizza was really delicious. And the prices were pleasant. So I liked everything there and can definitely recomend the place

The most appalling service I have ever received in a restaurant, and the only time in my life restaurant staff have screamed in my face. As a party of six we order three starters, two pasta dishes, two main courses, and two side dishes (plus lots of drinks). The starters, mains, and sides turn up in a haphazard order - but essentially altogether - fairly quickly. We eat. After a while we enquire after the whereabouts of the two pasta dishes. Met with disinterested shrugs. Those of us who received food finish eating. We then ask about the wayward pasta dishes once again (figuring there may be a language barrier - although we were able to ask in Italian aided by google translate!) The waitress says she will see whatâs going on. Time passes. By this point it has been fifty minutes since all of our other food has arrived, everyone has finished, and understandably the remaining two of our party donât really fancy eating pasta (that may never turn up...!) while the rest of us watch them. One of us then went to explain this (that we no longer wanted the pasta) to one of the staff who became extremely aggressive, shouting in her face. Our waitress then stormed over to our table, shouted our entire order back at us, slammed the bill on the table, and screamed(!) that it is ânormalâ to wait an hour between main courses and pasta courses (correct me if Iâm wrong but I thought in Italy pasta courses came *before* main courses..?!) It is a shame she didnât inform us to expect a ânormalâ hour long wait the first two times we politely asked after our food, instead of deciding to scream this at us on the third occasion. We paid and left at which point a male staff member made rude and threatening gestures at my little sister (the last to exit) and the waitress shouted at her to get out (obviously she waited to get her hands on our money before continuing her vicious and unprofessional tirade). There are some really nice restaurants in Campitello, with professional staff who know how to run a restaurant and donât scream at or physically threaten their customers - even a little bit! I suggest you go to one of them instead.

The restaurant is located close to the one of most popular ski cross roads in the area.It offers different options for different needs - regular restaurant, self service one and apre ski bar with live music. We took the self service options and enjoyed spaghetti, lasagne and roasted coated cheese. Drinks were not that good especially muled wineStrangely it was quite difficult to find anyone speaking in English, German assured proper completion of an order

Traditional Ladino produce is the starting point to creating our signature dishes. Spend your time in a refined atmosphere, either in the company of friends or that of your loved ones. Sit comfortably and dine in an intimate setting!
We visited for lunch and the restaurant offered a small business lunch menu. I like that the restaurant focuses on a small set of dishes rather than a huge variety. We ordered a pasta dish, rabbit, risotto, and roast beef. Our meals were very tasty and fresh. Only the pasta was still a bit hard and some of the decoration looked a bit sad. The tiramisu desert was wonderful and the right size. The service was friendly and helpful and the prices were moderate. I can recommend this place. Dear Thomas B,Thank you very much for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your lunch.During the week we offer our guests a business lunch, for a convenient and easy meal.In Italy we serve our pasta "al dente", which means that it still retain some harder texture, if you would prefer it more cooked you should ask for "ben cotta". I would be happy to suit your palate!Thank you again.Best wishes from Campitello.Vladimir and the staff

A very nice decorated Refugio just down the Col Rodella slope . Sitting in and out . Few rooms . Pizzas are excellent, good beer, great tiramisu. Service not friendly at all . Waiters dressed in typical Tirol outfit . No WiFi. Canât compete with the pizza and kaiserschmarnn ( desert ) at the Rifugio Salei . Prices not cheap.

We dined here in Feb 18 and found it to be a delightful "little" restaurant. I can see why so many people return. The food is simple but very good. I would recommend the venison medallions they were so tender an cooked perfectly. definitely worth another visit.

We were very positively surprised by the very high quality of the food at this Malga. We arrived when the bread had just been taken out of the wood oven and it was delicious, made of several different flours and crunchy..Yum! The mezzelune filled with nettles were to die for. The egg, speck, and potatoes did not disappoint, and even the salads were very ninfe with fresh ingredients, nicely presented , and tasty. The desserts were excellent: we had kaiser smarren, yogurt With fresh rasperries, and ricotta with fresh raspberries. Most of the ingredients come from the Malga, where you can see the many cows, goats, and other animals. They also grow some vegetables. We also bought some cheese, speck, and jams, which are all delicious. The staff was friendly. The best place to eat near the Val di Fassa and I consider myself a demanding foodie, being Italian and really enjoying good food. We will return to this wonderful place. Thank you!

We stopped and had a late lunch outdoors at the White Wolf. Breathtaking scenery, beautiful weather, great service. And the food! The food shows the cross-country heritage of a place that might be equal parts Italy, Germany and Austria. My grigliata mista was quite good, but the absolute hit of the meal was the polenta con formaggio & fughi. Grilled perfectly, with the tiniest bit of crust, there was just the right mix of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth lusciousness in every single bite. In our family, we tend to share a few bites of everyone's meal, but today it was practically a showdown as to who would get the most of this wonderful delight! Oh, and did I mention the scenery? Wow. We loved our stop at the Wellness Hotel!
