This place is right at the gate to the old hill-top town of Erice. We came here after a long morning sightseeing. Given the 'tourist trap' location we feared the worse. We need not have feared ... it is a genuinely good restaurant.The outside patio is very public, but well sheltered, well segregated from the street and not crowded.The service was good and attentive and the food very good. What also impressed us was that they serve a full lunch, but were just as happy to serve quick snacks for lunch without making us feel out of place and without compromising the full service.A very pleasant surprise.

Small but very pretty coffee shop.mi had a huge hazelnut bruschetta with dopio espresso that was most needed in the August heat.The toilets are located outside the building and the manager/kind waitress can give you the key.Very beautiful panoramic views and from the Venus castle which a few meters away.Great stop.

Restaurant is difficult to find but is well worth looking for. The interior is beautiful and the atmosphere terrific. There is so much lovely food here we ended ordering too much. It was all wonderful as was the service by the lovely owners. Definitely worth a visit for a taste of typical Sicilian life.

We got a seat on the terrace and greatly enjoyed it. Food was ok. Didn't think it was overly priced. Place was packed so service was slow, although the two waiters on our floor were working hard as every table was taken. We didn't realise that the coffee and dessert that came with our meal was to be served at the coffee bar on the groumd floor. So we sat for half an hour before finally calling over the waiter who told us to go downstairs!! As the terrace seats were at a premium, we could have vacated ours much sooner had we known the set up. We had the tourist menu and my husband loved his lasgna.. light with a meat sauce and bechemel in between the layers.

The almond pastries and the granita were really delicious. Also the platter, which the very friendly owner offerrred us, was indeed exquisite! Not to be missed.
