Tucked away in the back-streets of the wonderful Scopello with a view over the tonnara below, the menu held much promise and the food, while it was tasty and served promptly, the staff were a little surly, particularly when we didnât order any secondi, dessert or coffee. A little more pricey than other lunches we have had on our visit but perhaps expected given the location.

The food is divine! Amazingly delicious and elaborately prepared. One of the best seafood dinners I have ever had, and I had quite a few around the world. Fresh local produce. The service is outstanding: attentive, with friendly and respectful attitude. Sparkling clean. Simple but stylish, great attention to details (e.g. high quality cuttlery, soft music). I haven't yet finished my dinner, when I made another reservation in a couple of days.

We both had mediocre meals here. My calamari was slightly overcooked and rubbery, although not terrible. My wife had unremarkable pasta that was supposed to come with prawns, although nothing seemed to be left of them other than their deceptively large, decorative heads. The mixed seafood starter was just OK. This place seems to trade on the views from its terrace, but there are really only three tables with views, and youâd have to reserve in advance to get one of them. On the whole, this was a disappointing experience. Youâd be much, much better offâboth in terms of food quality and viewsâat La Cioloma.

This place is the best for takeaway food and you can also eat outside. I tried the couscous which I recommend and the pizzas as well. I would come back

Really fantastic surprise in Castellammare. Big selection of grains for your dough, a massive range of pizzas all with local and fresh ingredients. Many beers from local breweries to choose from. Really nice location close to the sea. Unexpected and really recommended!

Sunday open for lunch
This restaurant has outdoor seating in two levels. I recommend being seated in the lower level, as there is a better view of the harbor, and you are further from the street and the traffic. On the evening we visited we were unfortunate that three of the courses we wanted were unavailable. This was particularly a problem with the only veggie dish on the menu, as that left few options for the vegetarian among us. That being said the food was really good. Two of us had the mixed grill and the third the chicken. All meats were tender and juicy and the sides were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the potatoes 360 style. The service was ok, but no more than that.Thank you for your review. Our Braceria360 is a restaurant specializing in meat dishes, but we can often satisfy different requests. I'm sorry there weren't all the dishes available that nightCome back soon

Great food and wine, friendly and caring staff, amazing location with great views on the gulf of Castellammare... Ingredients of food are first class, vegetables and fish locally sourced and cooked by very experienced hands. You can't ask more to this great restaurant in Scopello.

We visited this restaurant after reading several reviews on TA. We were not disappointed and it exceeded our expectations. The location is not glamorous, since it is on one of the roads in the centre of the village. However the excellent service provided, the ambiance and the quality of the food compensate for it. Prices are very reasonable too.

Restaurant "La Funtanazza", is the first restaurant into Natural Reserve. It offers possibility to taste differents traditional Sicilian foods.
Firstly the location is wrong on the trip advisor app! Secondly when we arrived the welcome could not have been more luke warm if we had tried. Service generally was awful which is not usual in this beautiful island. The food was tasteless and totally unadaptable, which is ok but we were one of a few people there. Meat was ok but the food was generally cold. Very disappointing in this land of food. Regarding the wrong location on TripApp we have long since reported it to TripAdvisor, but still have not solved. This creates many inconveniences for our customers and we are sorry.Regarding the reception, I'm sorry that he did not feel well received. We do a lot for our customers and the hundreds of positive reviews are the result of our work!Regarding the food, we do not remember that he reported any problems, if he had reported definitely we would have solved!See you soon.

Our is a restaurant located in the center of Castellammare del Golfo just a few meters from the Port. It is a restaurant built inside an ancient monastery of 1870, with characteristic walls of the time, all associated with a great Mediterranean fish cuisi
Being welcomed with warmth, friendliness and professionalism is one good, when not essential, thing when dining out. The word restaurant literally means "a place where to restore", hence the first element is there and Francesco knows how to treat his customers! However, the real BOOM BANG experience is their food! Simply excellent on all fronts! The fish is super fresh, caught and brought daily from local fishermen. The freshness is something that you see with your eyes and experience in your mouth, at each bite, without failing ever your senses! We ate an antipasto of sea cruditè with red and white prawns (so fresh that only the very skin of the head was left, without the inside is understood!), tuna and sword fish tart-tar, one oyster (I leave it to your imagination to gather how fresh the oyster was), and marinated salmon. Then their stable and revisited pasta con le sarde with busiate and turmeric flavoured breadcrumbs was to die for! and obviously, because you judge a restaurant from their most simple dish, I decided to go for spaghetti alle vongole, and here I was totally utterly entirely thrilled! This is a must go, whether if you happen to be near by or if you have to fly from New York to go there!!!!! Highly recommended!
