In the ancient Baglio, an old farm house, you will discover the typical sicilian colours, scents and tastes. Agriturismo Vultaggio is located between Erice and Marsala, sorrounded by citrus and olive groves, vineyard; in front of Egadi isles and Mothia. Only 10 minutes far from Marausa Lido beach. Our restaurant, from 2001 on Osterie d'Italia (Slow Food magazine), Foodies (Gambero Rosso magazine), has been focusing on Slow Food philosophy. We use only products from our crops, local products and Sicilian Slow Food (Pistacchio from Bronte, lentils from Ustica, Sicilian black bee honey, seasalt of Trapani, red garlic from Nubia, Vastedda cheese from Valle del Belice, black porc from Nebrodi, etc). You can taste different rustic appetizers (olives, panelle, caponata, cheese, cold cuts and other specialities) our "busiate", fresh typical hand-made pasta of Trapani area; main corses with meat choice; side dishes with vegetables from our crops. New entry in our menu: Pizza! Slow leavening (24h), "Antichi Grani Siciliani" biological flour and others local biological flour (Molini del Ponte from Castelvetrano) for a crisp and tasting pizza of choice.
The location is marvellous for those who appreciate Mother Nature. The view is breathtaking. The food was authentic and delicious and our waiter Andrea was the best ever, attentive friendly competent and sincere. What else do do you need to make a perfect dinner?

Stay in a bed and breakfast at a working winery near Alcamo in the hills of Sicily's enchanting wine country. Or just drop by our rustic restaurant for a country lunch to enjoy our wine and organic cuisine. Come be our guest soon.
We were lucky to be introduced to this amazing place on a wine/food weekend of Sicily. We went for lunch and wine tasting. An experience that was above and beyond expectations. A stunning setting and the most incredible food. Filippo the owner was an outstanding host and has some incredible stories. Buy his book - I did and read on the flight back. Absolutely fascinating. I would love to return and stay at the farm and do the cookery class. A truly special place.

The Holiday Farm “Case di Latomie” immersed in centuries-old olive trees and citrus groves, bears the name of the ancient quarry which supplied the stone, to build the Greek colony of Selinunte. The 27 rooms, from double rooms for single use to quadruples, all have bath- room, air conditioning, frigo bar, colour television, and heating. All rooms have direct access to the outside, either to the terrace or the garden. The building is suitable for handicapped visitors.Reception, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, banqueting and congress hall, reading room, children’s playground, mini zoo, hire of mountain bikes, parking, beauty -centre (from 2010), fishing, cookery courses and organized excursions. The restaurant, surrounded by our citrus trees offers a variety of traditional Sicilian dishes enhanced with our own home produced organic olive oil.
We had a lovely stay at Case di Latomie just outside Selinunte. Wonderful hospitality, comfortable room and option to have fixed price dinner on the olive estate made our stay so relaxing. After a hard day’s driving it was just what we needed.

This resort is in a physically lovely setting. We arrived after a long day of travel, began to clean up for dinner and our water ran out after I filled the tub one inch - they corrected the problem within two hours but we returned to the room and there was no air conditioning. The room was hot and you could not open windows due to bugs. We asked to be moved but they said there were no available rooms nor other hotels nearby so we were forced to try to sleep there that night. It was difficult to sleep in the heat leaving us exhausted for our next day of vacation. They did move us to a much smaller room for the second night. We requested that they not charge us for the first night. They refused but did give some restaurant credit. We left dissatisfied with that concession and really feel they need training in customer service.

This agriturismo is really worth visiting. The staff is nice, our appartment was private, big and good taken care off. This place is an 300 year old farm and really authentic. A lot of details and history here. There are also a lot of animals, cats, dogs, donkeys, chickens, turtels, you name it. Something that the kids really liked. The pool is big and situated in a beautiful garden and in the evening you can eat in their own restaurant which is populair with the locals (always a good sign)

.Surrounded by the blue sea and a green fragrant garden, the farm Tenute Plaia is the ideal place for those who appreciate a holiday in contact with the simple and genuine nature, to relive the smells and the tastes of the past. The location of the farm allows to visit and reach with short trips various places in provinces of Trapani, Palermo and Agrigento such as: the nearby Zingaro Nature Reserve, the archaeological sites of Segesta, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, Mozia, the Saline of Trapani, Palermo, Monreale, Selinunte and Agrigento. All rooms are tastefully decorated, with shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar and telephone. The tradition is also in the restaurant we serve typical local dishes such as caponata, stuffed dried tomatoes, pasta "busiate" with sauce, basil and aubergines, sardines "a beccafico" using only products of our farm.
We stayed there for few Days. The room are ok and clean but not really modern. The restaurant view for dinner and breakfast is really nice. Staff is really nice and helpful. Dinner food is interesting and good. Good wine menu. Easy to go to Scopello

We were a small group of friends wanting a base to easily get to Trapani and surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room we had was very basic but clean. The food was generous and tasty. We loved the pool area and other seating areas. Wished the table tennis table hadn’t been broken the week before and that cookery courses were still available. Great value stay.

Stayed here on vacation with 2 other family members. Easy to find Agriturismo location. Very quiet possible because it was off season. Room was clean & neat. Ordered the "Half Board when booking my reservation. The dinners were fantastic just like a Michelin Star restaurant. It's a set menu for the night. No selection, but everything was delicious & elegantly presented. Breakfast was adequate for Europe. Everyone was very nice to deal with. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I spent so many hours scouting the various sites to find the perfect Agritutismo. the most important factors for us were good for kids, close enough for day trips, and great food. What I really hoped for was exactly what we found here plus warm and sincere hospitality. Reviews only go so far and after reading so many I was numb to them. It was something on the website here that said something about all being made with love. It really resonated with me and was enough to make the booking finally with confidence. Lucia was gracious and generous with her attention and time. The meals she prepared were the best we had during our 2 week journey around Sicily. The antipasto was different each of the four meals and showcased the many traditional dishes we were seeking to experience. The wine was local and perfect compliment to meal experience. The true star was Lucia cooking for just us four with so much patience and love. All so simple and enjoyable. We look forward to return in the future.
