Cortellini family reserve to you a particolar attention to taste all typical food ...j eat here from three years and the chef Paola can cook everithing with great simplicity .... j suggest Bruschetta with tomato and fantastic local oil , umbricelli a pasta that Paola prepare at home and tagliata and fantastic wines that Franco suggest to you . My spouse and I had lunch.SERVICE: 4.5. Very attentive and friendly.FOOD: 4.0.- Tagliere di Salumi e Formaggi (Meat / Cheese plate): 4.5. We didn't realize it when we ordered, but it comes in one size - a lot. Very good, though we couldn't quite finish it.- Strozza zucchine, menta e pecorino: 4.0.AMBIANCE: 4.0. Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is on the scenic Piazza Duomo.

This was our last dinner experience in our recent 3 week travel in Italy. Overall, we would say that overall was our best experience in Orvieto, where we spent one week. We ordered entirelly from the out-of-menu specials which were writeen in a small cardboard placed in every table. Both me and my wife enjoyed a lot: the quality of ingredients, the perfect combinations, texture, sophistication and yet simplicity... The quality-price rapport was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and not touristic at all (good mix of tourists and italians enjoying their Sunday dinner..).

From the outside it doesn't look like much but it is an absolute gem. This place make their own meat produce (amazing!) and is family run which is super charming. We had two courses each (10 euros per person) and shared all four as we wanted to taste as much as possible - we loved loved everything. We were so sad that we didn't have the opportunity to bring home one of each of the homemade sausages and hams (we were driving on through Italy) and I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
