The old papal tax collection centre with its brick vaulted ceilings has been reimagined into a fish restaurant of high quality. We had the asparagus and scampi risotto and mixed fried fish. All served with in-house baked bread and small pizzas washed down a local Pecorino white.Our guest had a pasta dish. All up with coffee E108.

This is a great fish restaurant. The service is good too. The chefs are well qualified to deliver a range of quality prepared food that on this occasion included Squid Ink pasta, seared tuna and the Langoustines were the best for a long time - fresh sweet and tasty.

I went here several times before and I've never been dissappointed. The plates are so tasteful, perfectly delicious, as an obvious mark of the chef's quality work. Of course, I must mention the 'crew', which is a beautiful team in this family business. Totally worth it!

Forget about nouvelle cuisine , minimalist architecture and " painted plates". At " Leon d'Oro " everything is concetrated on the variety of fishes available, day after day, on the adriatic coast. They have been cooking fishes for the last forty years. They know what they do. Don't expect charming waiters and an elegant setting. Still good value for money.
