This was our first time in Tarragona and the first restaurant we visited in the city. A marvelous surprise!!! We had provolone, involtini di mozarella, tagliatelle con fromagio and piadina con tuna. The piadina dough was thin and crisp and the tagliatelle so so tasty..The ice cream is an absolute must; all flavous!!! The great service and the personal touch made our experience memorable. Make sure you ask Paola for a tour of the pasta making room! We will return :)

We stopped here for a dinner and had menu del dia (2 starters, main dish and dessert) for £12.50 each. It was really nice I must say - different types of seafood and other typical Spanish dishes, very tasty and well prepared. I went here for an Italian meal with the friend. We were really impressed by the menu, there was lots to choose from and there was an English menu available. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I'd recommend eating inside because it is a lovely environment there. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Visiting Tarragona is always a pleasure and after a good shopping day with my lovely wife this men needs Some good Italian food and a very cold beer, to recover. So where can you go in Tarragona? I already wrote a review of da Mario but I also have to advise this restaurant. We discovered this wonderfully old-fashioned Italian restaurant already in Calafell so now we visit this restaurant in Tarragona. First about the staff, excellent delivering, the service is unrushed, encouraging you to linger from a gracious, attentive staff. Now about the food, we started with warm bread good for trawling through a notably savory herbed olive oil then we had the salad served, INSALATA BASÃLICO CAPRESE very delicious, the salad was crisp and nicely shredded and delicious flavorâs. Then we choose one of the best homemade pastas, choices enough. I preferred the tagliatelle with a trio di sughiDegustación de tres salsas: 4 Formaggi, Rustica y Pesto saus, very tasty and all fresh ingredients. My wife choice was the pasta with CalabreseTomate confitado, grana padano, piñones tostados, cebolla balsámica, ajo y albahaca, both tasted very good I really recommend this place.

For true good quality food lovers, this will be a disappointment. Yes itâs cheap 5 course + dessert, HOWEVER the portions are tiny, unimpressive, the taste of everything is very normal/basic. I sincerely regret spending even 35 Euros on this restaurant. The only ONLY impressive thing is the restaurant itself, its very beautiful to take pictures. Other than this, I do not recommend. We live in Tarragona and we will definitely not repeat our visit here.

We had planned to sit outside but ended up inside which actually turned out to be a much better atmosphere. The chef definitely knows how to cook. The pizzas and pastas were very authentic. Wine was good too.Prices a little more than average for an Italian restaurant in Spain. However, it was very much let down by poor and unco-ordinated service.
