We decided to have a dinner here because of lots of âwowâ reviews. So first of all this place looks completely not like on a main photo here. All seats, tables and place in general is pretty old. A hot there a little strange but seems friendly. But we were served with dirty wine glasses which is strange one was broken. Food is pretty ordinary. Steaks, meat cost a lot but it is not any type of marble meat or something, just ordinary cow. Canât say it is ugly but not worthy of money.Salmon was nice. Sangria was not tasty at all, especially from dirty glasses. In the end a drunk Spanish guy wanted something from us and roamed around our table, who finished our impression.Well overall I donât recommend this place. There are many much better places in Salou

A space designed for lovers of gastronomy. Kind attention, correct service, varied selection of wines and culinary creations make 4R Gastrobar the ideal place to enjoy a true gastronomic experience with a great value for money.
..and visit this "Gastrobar", you will not regret. I spent one week in Salou in September 2017 and visited a lot of restaurants "off the beaten path" since I simply hate tourist restaurants (I'm Italian so also a bit picky when it comes to eating well). The 4R Gastrobar was a very good surprise, they are open during the typical Spanish lunch hours (1 PM to 5 PM, when I visited) and a lot of Spanish people go there for their lunch break. I was greeted by a very welcoming and professional staff, and was offered the daily menu, so I got:- One portion of squid with "aioli" (a mayonnaise, which is slightly garlic flavoured);- I asked for a portion of "Pan de crystal" (a very light and crumbly bread, topped with some mashed tomatoes), which was off the menu;- A "paella mixta" (mixed paella with both seafood and chicken), the ration was quite abundant and very tasty, too;- A glass of wine and a bottle of water;- A coffee (I skipped the "postre"/dessert, I was full ad that point !).All for 19.50 euros. Yes, this is not a mistake. Prices are VERY good and the quality of food is great too, so be sure to take a look at the daily menu.Well done 4R Gastrobar !!
