Very well done meals. Great price-quality relation with a fixed price menu during the week and on week-ends. One of the best restaurants in the Priorat, without being expensive or pretentious.

We were here twice, once in the afternoon for a break on a cycling tour, once for dinner.First time the service was slow and uninterested, the cake was good, as was the coffee.Second time, the service was attentive and friendly(same staff). The food was ok, but not great. The meat, ordered âmedium rareâ was rather âbleuâ the fries where oily and we did not touch them. The winelist is good, prices appropriate. We think, there is room for improvement.

Good restaurant in the center of town. Modern dishes of a Catalan origin. Good selection of wines. Very attentive and professional service.

We were visiting a good biodynamic winery Nin Ortiz before leaving asked for lunch recommendation. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is very nice and not too noisy. We were just two so we ordered and shared the qinoua salad with avocado hazelnuts rocket and dijon mustard and tomato soup both were the cheff sent a sample of tasty sweetbreads .The chicken in curry and the lamb were coocked to perfection. This was my best lunch in the whole trip to Priorat.I must come again.
We literally stumbled upon this wine bar as we were lost in the winding roads of Gratallops. Craig and Tanya are wonderful hosts and made suggestions that enhanced our visit. There were not many options for dinner in this little town, but this is an excellent choice!

Surprising quality restaurant in the heart of Priorat
Brots is clearly a labor of love: it's a small restaurant (6 tables) hidden in the Priorat region, created and run by chef Pieter Truyts. From the moment you enter, just by looking at what is on the walls you will know that this is a very personal restaurant. We opted for the degustation menu, which is absolutely incredible value at 29â¬, and had a lovely dinner. The restaurant punches way above its price class, so you'll be treated to Michelin-star quality food at a much lower price point. In our opinion, some dishes were more succesful than others: we were completely blown away by the surprising combination of jerusalem artichoke puree, tongue, sardines, marinated celery root and red wine sauce of the starter. On the other hand, the main - tomato risotto and chicken sausage - was maybe a bit "too direct" for this reviewer, but througout the meal everything was cooked to perfection, packed with flavour and showed the creativity of the chef. Portions are generous, so you will probably leave the restaurant full and with a smile on your face. Great selection of local wines at a super competitive price to boot. Highly, highly recommended.

Restaurant with an open fire menu in a rural area with local products
Just out of Falset this place has ample parking and both outdoor and indoor seating. Specialising in traditional Catalan food they are also strong on grilled option (meat, vegetables, rabbit etc). The staff are smartly uniformed and very courteous and professional not stuffy. Good wine list as you'd expect, at very fair prices and some nice home-made desserts for just 3 or 4 euros. The owner speaks good English. We came in January and I might have preferred a slightly warmer / more cosy look and feel but basically this place is a very good option if you want true local food and are not interested in anything too fancy or messed around with. I'd go again.

Clos Figueras purchased the restaurant âLes Figueresâadjacent to the cellar, is now available the week end, for tastings of our wines and light meals or tapas from the region. Our wines and others from Catalonia, with a selection from other regions and cou
Very nice setup. Very convinient on the outskirts of Gratallops. Ample parking. We had the lunch menu with wine tasting. Food was great. We liked the lamb chops and country pathe and salad. So much choice and si fresh. Probably the best lunch in the area. Definite must. Too bad they were not open for dinner as well...

Exceptional views of the Priorat sunset. Marc Pi really makes this place amazing. Nouvelle cuisine with local ingredients. Tasting menu is great for business meetings but also for couples. You can also book a room above the restaurant with great views of Gratallops.

When we visited Gratallops out of season to try some fine Priorat wines and were asking locals where we can have some food (it was almost siesta time already) they suggested this place and I'm happy they did. At first I was unsure if the place is open but waitress came quickly out. She didn't speaks much english nor we much spanish but she managed to explain us the three item fixed menu of the day. The food was amzingly good and served like in some fancy place. Actually we were trying to find some cheaper place but the truth is we didn't regret any euro we spent there. Comparing to some places in Salou the Celler de Gratallops offered us much more enjoyable and interesting food.
