Can't fault the concept here - they grill meat, lots of it, and there's a whole load of it to look at on display.I imagine that if you are a local, the way your evening will unfold probably makes a lot of sense. If you're an unsuspecting foreigner, it's slightly bewildering.The place itself looks not unlike a butchers shop, although the big grill and cooking apparatus behind the counter gives the game away. From pictures on line, we knew that there was some seating inside, but upon arrival the manager quickly marched us out to a rather military-looking covered area by the side of the building. Not a problem, we preferred it. The busy laminated menus were rather a challenge, and there was certainly a wide choice of meats, grilling variations and sauces. Helpfully, the kind young cook came out to help convey our selections to a young non-english speaking waitress. We picked out some dishes that we thought we had identified correctly and waited with some curiosity. We were the only customers in situ at the time.We'd got a carafe of very peppery red wine and a plate of tasteless melon plus a bowl of fries to keep us busy, and then the waitress returned. After a lot of pointing and gesticulating on both sides, Mrs EPR was sent back into the main grill area to choose something else, as was I after she returned. So she got an unexpected plate of spicy chicken skewers and I got an unexpected plate of merguez sausages. But all handpicked by ourselves from the meat on display, and grilled quite adequately.Having thought that this may have occurred because our original choice had some sort of problem, our original choices then turned up! I had a large steak heavily covered in a pungent gorgonzola sauce and Mrs EPR grappled with a sizeable grilled chicken similarly topped with a creamy pistachio equivalent. Couldn't fault the size or the standard of the meals, although both were overwhelmed by their dressings. Completely stuffed afterwards so not a chance of consuming anything else.By this time, we had been joined by two large parties of cheerful locals with only our little waitress to look after them all. We managed to catch her attention and met her inside to get the bill, dodging the queue that had formed to either get takeaways or to take meat away to grill at home. The manager was holding court by the counter and the punters seemed to love him.The entire place was packed when we left at 21.30, which must be some kind of recommendation in itself. Otherwise, probably best for no-nonsense carnivores feeling adventurous.

Siamo stati invitati in questo ristorante/pizzeria/lounge bar da amici ... quindi non possiamo commentare i prezzi. Il locale è ben visibile sul corso principale di Castellaneta marina, stile moderno e musica SPARATA a mille decibel nelle orecchie con grandi e conseguenti difficoltà di conversazione (gli altoparlanti sono proprio vicino ai tavoli) ...d'accordo é sabato, ma il cameriere all'ordinazione ci dice che c'è da aspettare una ventina di minuti per le pizze, NON CREDETEGLI !!! ... sappiamo già che di solito i tempi raddoppiano, questa volta sono TRIPLICATI !!! dopo più di 50 minuti, arrivano finalmente le nostre pizze che per la verità sono anche gustose ma nel frattempo le birre sono diventate calde e ci è passata un pò la fame ... mah! avranno pensato che volevamo trascorrere l'intera serata seduti al tavolino ...

Grazie al proprietario, Angelo il principe abbiamo passato una serata fantastica ci ha fatti sentire così a nostro agio da farci sembrare di essere a casa nostra... Abbiamo stuzzicato con la fonduta che neanche conoscevo in attesa di una costata perfetta e squisita per me è di un piatto da favola per la mia ragazza... Straccetti di Bisonte con rucola e pomodorini che mi hanno lasciato senza parole! Una parola sola mi restava ed era SQUISITO!! Il posto è molto accogliente e intimo ottimo per una serata in coppia o con gli amici... Ci tornerò di sicuro!
