Restaurant and Conference CenterA journey through the flavors of the Mediterranean, in the spaces found in an underground oil mill dating back to 700AD, where 2,600 square meters of stone and tuff have a story to tell: the story of the wine, the story of
We got married here in August: I am originally from the area [from Sava], my wife is British. We planned the wedding for more than year, and discuss all the different issues with the venue director and the wedding planner. They were always great, and incredibly helpful.Although a bit worried about possible transport issues [it is a typical Italian wedding venue, so no room for guests -apart from groom&bride], we managed to sort out everything. It was not easy [170guests, roughly half of them came from outside Puglia], but the result was spectacular, and well worth all the work done during the year before.Food was great, and we did also manage to eat at the venue before the wedding at least twice [the first time with my future in-laws, who were really impressed, and could not agree more with the choice we made]. Food was superb on the wedding day, of course, and our guests could not stop thinking what a great idea was to get married there, and how exquisite was our food choice for the menu.We did get married late August, so still quite hot, so we opted for an afternoon service, and a night reception: the venue at night looks absolutely stunning, and we would probably recommend a night reception, to capture the best of the atmosphere the venue can offer].Campomarino is close by, only 5km, so plenty of rooms, hotels and B&B along the coast, for all the guests.Price of the venue is also very reasonable. We would highly recommend this venue, and we always think we could not have made a better choice: we carry with us lovely, unforgettable moments of our wonderful and unique wedding.PS: for dinner/lunch, reservation is mandatory, as the restaurant is only open if tables have been booked in advance.

It is a surprise to enter into this "locanda". Nothing let us suspect what we actually found.Very good and fresh food cooked according local traditions. Nice and sympathetic owner Antonvito can drive you throughout actual "pugliese" kitchen. The chef is a middle aged woman with "gold hands". My suggestion: do not ask for the menu. Just ask the dishes of the day.

The Masseria is a beautiful sanctuary to stay for an authentic southern Italian getaway!! The property is absolutely breath-taking, pictures don't do this place justice. The rooms are cool, comfortable and unique, reflecting traditional Puglian style. The food and wine were amazing!! The location is great, surrounded by olive orchards and only a ten minute drive to some really nice beaches and cute towns. I felt very comfortable on the property, and there were so many different areas to relax and enjoy the beauty of the place. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday and an authentic experience, this is the perfect place and a good home base to see the near by attractions. You can tell there is a lot of care and passion put into the details and the owners really care about what they offer to their guests. I can't wait to come back!!!

My husband and I had our wedding at Reggia Domizia few weeks ago and it was just perfect! We picked this location because of very friendly staffs and we were not disappointed! Venue is just beautiful and photogenic, food is superb, and servers were very attentive and professional. My husband and I had tasting of the food 6 months in advanced and we were both looking forward to eat them again (though unfortunately as a bride and groom, we didn't get to eat a lot... sooo sad!!!) My family doesn't really drink alcohol that much and by the 2nd plate servers realized that no one at my family table was touching their wine. Immediately they switched to juices and sodas! We are so happy that we had our wedding here. Everyone went home well fed and happy!

Un'idea di cucina innovativa che affonda le radici nel territorio messapico. Vini da tutto il mondo, tecnica e materia prima sono pura passione.
I usually try to find always good things even in the most awful situations, but this time i just couldn't. We arrived at 20:30, at 21:20 none came along to take our order. We asked a waiter if we could take the order, he said there was only one lady taking the orders for all the restaurant. When we told her if we could order, shed said she would come back. What she did was, talking with some clients outside, cleaning up the tables, going up and down the stairs, and never showed up. So we asked the 2⬠bill for the water and left. The waitress said she had some more important things to do (talking to some people sent by someone, since we were "none", she left us appart). I have eaten in lots of places and i have never experienced such an horrible service and never had such a disrespectful treatment! They should be ashamed! I totally do not recommend this place. Go to school to learn the basis on how to serve and treat clients, since this is disrespectful to people who are doing this job seriously!

We went here to see about a meal that evening and the meat looked great and well presented in a modern butchers shop. However, we were told they did not serve food there and referred us to an Osteria back in the center of town....Good to know!!salve mi dispiace dirvelo ma avete un grande problema a capire l'italiano .la mia struttura di macelleria braceria e aperta solo a CENA ed non a pranzo .mi avete chiesto di indicarvi dove potete pranzare ed io gentilmente vi ho indicato un osteria .

We had a truly fantastic dining experience here as a couple. The location is probably one of the best in town: on the bautiful terrace of a newly renovated palazzo from the 16th century. Great atmosphere with the bautiful stones, the various plants and the lights. The restaurant is newly opened by the daughters of the owner. They have accumulated great experiences from Sardegna, San Francisco and the Middle East and have come back to realize their dream. It shows in the food which is delicate and light and Michelin star level. It is mostly new combinations of local fresh products, a Puglian base with new perspectives. Everything was delicious and far, far above what you get all around in traditional Puglian restaurants. This also means that if you want a Pizza or french fries or just a big portion of spaghetti con vongole, you should go somewhere else. Prices are incredibly low for the quality (8-10 EUR for a dish). The owners told us that this is because they wanted to make it accessible also for local young people.Service personel was extremely friendly, motivated and competent. We really wish them great success with their new restaurant. Their different style is a greatly needed in Puglia.Thank you for spending time on writing a review, and mostly for being our guests. It makes us happy to know that we are being able to let people understand our concept, and to show our love and effort in the right way. We make sure to have a look into the past, to get inspiration from our traditional dishes, but still trying to present them in a new way. Thank you very much again, and we wish to see you again sooner or later :)

The Restaurant at Masseria Palombara is authentic, cozy, and informal - the perfect place for eating, drinking but first of all âstay and enjoyâ: either in front of the fireplace in the cold winter nights, or in the shade of our portico when the sun is st
