Ormai la salsiccia di Palazzolo Acreide è famosa in tutta la sicilia ed oltre, ma bisogna comunque acquistarla nel posto giusto e Tanasi è uno di questi, da tanti anni in posizione comoda da raggiungere

Apart from restaurant it also offers accomodation. Pool available too for day visits.
We enjoyed our stay at this agriturismo. Quietly located, surrounded with country views, this agriturismo is not just an accomodation but also a perfect dining place. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately we didn't make use of the pool because it was raining, however the pool area is very relaxing. The owner and staff are very friendly. Ideal place if you can drive a car. Parking is provided on the spot. The place is ideal as a base for other excursions.

Have you ever wondered what tourist guides are writing about when mention true Italian hospitality and different regions speciality food? Ever tried to get away from tourist hoards and faceless service of the seaside promenades? We now got the answer. We visited a place nearby and stopped for a dinner at a first place at the main street. No tourists around and menu only in Italian first made us wonder if we will get round the language barrier. In fact, our chef went an extra mile and did an extraordinary effort to accommodate our large group. We have asked for starters to share and our chef over performed. The variety exceeded all possible expectations and the taste literally was a positive shock - we never expected such abundance of flavour! In fact, we were absolutely full before the main meal arrived but could not stop eating as the food was of extraordinary quality. We have taken loads of take aways which were carefully packed for us and were still fantastic on a next day. We made a circle on our trip and came again tonight, just to be amazed by a new selection of starters, of all varieties of vegs and meat. We had a baked pork half leg as a main, for which we all can happily vote as a best ever meat in this part of Europe. I am not sure how chef does it, but his deceptively simple trattoria got all five stars from us in all possible categories: food, variety, freshness, authenticity, hospitality, service, friendliness, - you name it! Oh, we never got round to desserts, so we are bound to be back! Thank you Francesco for our unique experience which we are going to remember long after our holiday is over!

Visited on Easter Monday for the set menu. Every table was occupied, but we weren't waiting too long for each course. Also managed to swap the meat for fish for dietary requirements.Fish pasta to start was ok, main course of trout was very good. The appetiser of powdered salmon on toast was amazing- a definite must if you visit.

When we have been in Sicily we went to the restaurant Andrea â Sapori Montani. We were surprised about the quality of food and services. Everything was good. Cuisine is traditional but prepared in a modern way. The staffs are very nice and warm also the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. When I come home I have prepared their salad with anchovies, oranges and fennel it was delicious.

In the heart of the historic center of Palazzolo Acreide (Patrimonio Dell'U.N.E.C.O.), a few steps from Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza del Popolo is the trattoria "The Tavern of Bacchus" Dedicated to the Greek God Bacco with the idea that "wine pre
We stopped in after a long day of travel and quite hungry. Even though we were there an hour before Massimo and staff opened for dinner, they welcomed us and made us wonderful pastas of ravioli with ricotta and eggplant. Yum. We returned the next night for spada (swordfish), and pasta Norma. The staff was lovely, Massimo effusive and ambience perfect. Totally non pretentious and all about the food. Bravo!
