This was a kind of last minute booking since we realize that we could not make the distance to the hotel we booked originally. We were glad we made the change. The hotel is very nice, with good beds and quietness. The restaurant has an excellent menu even for our 4 year old daughter. Our daughter and I got a very special treat when we were having a drink. The Dutch golf umpire (or instructor) took us on a trip in a golf cart across the terrain. He allowed me daughter to run around the green and have some fun. I like to thank him again for taking to the time to do this for me daughter...Dankjewel.

The Saltus Hotel is located at an altitude of 1.100 meters, at the edge of the forest. Bolzano, the regional capital, is however only a short cable car ride away. Following our vision of “living nature because nature is what we are”, we offer a platform for authentic, sustainable relaxation with our Forest Spa, forest bathing, elegant rooftop infinity pool, relaxation techniques and more.
Fantastic hotel located in the mountains just outside Bolzano. Beautiful minimalistic design with a fantastic view. Rooms or located on the lower levels with a view to the forest. Nice big rooms with balconies .... completely silent Good locations for hikes in the mountains or simply a spa/wellness treatment. We went for all and also participated in the morning yoga classes Food was good and in particular the breakfast, was delicious Staff is very friendly and helpful

We have been coming here for years now to go skiing in Kronplatz, 3 Zinnen and Sella Ronda. All easily reachable with the train that stops at a 5 min walk from the hotel. Since this year the speed of the wifi internet is like at home, superfast and very reliable. Rooms, food, price and friendliness are always great !!! We’ll be back next year again!

Tiny rooms with no bidet… Rude and poorly trained personnel… Noisy environment… you name it. This hotel does not uphold to any of the standards of the category it is supposed to belong to. I was here on a business trip which started on a saturday. On sunday morning a call from ghe front desk wskes me up suggesting it was time for mr to chevk out. Needless to say, I had four more days on my reservation. Without ever acknowledging their mistake, the staff moves me to a tiny attic with barely enough room to walk which, as a plus, has men at work next door. When asked about the reason of such a downgrade, the staff first lies openly: they claim they spoke to the company I work for and agreed on the downgrade since I prolongued my staying. Of course none of this was true. They then claim I the tiny attic was the room I was supposed to get in the first place, and I got the bigger room only by a lucky chance. The whole situation has been handed poorly and tastelessly. Whether it was the works next door, the incredibly noisy room fridge or a call from the stff themselves, I didn’t manage to get a decent night of sleep during my whole staying. Good central position.

The hotel is centrally located in Steinhaus with only 10 min walk to the Klausberg cable car which is a very nice area for hiking. The rooms offer good 3-star standard, are clean and modern. We enjoyed half board and the price/performance is excellent; food quality is very good, plenteous, nice choices and a fine salad buffet. The owner family is very friendly and service oriented. Anything negative? Maybe that you feel a bit stressed when you have your breakfast or dinner; the staff is rushed, they start clear the tables before everyone is ready and they are a bit difficult to charm... :-)

New generation hotel young people and for who still feels young, dynamic and rational. Ideal for beautiful vacation in Val Gardena and for business trips because it's open the whole year! In the smart hotel Saslong you can book only the overnight staying. Overnight staying with rich breakfast buffet, with a various choice of deliciousness's, homemade sweets, fresh fruits or yogurts from the near farms and obviously every kind of cold cuts and natural fruit juices. Or with half board, with the dinner in the Blue Restaurant which is situated in the hotel: where south Tyrolean and Italian dishes are served in very particular way, modern and creative; without neglect the good taste! It's situated at the beginning of St. Christina in a very calm area, but ideal in winter for skiing and in summer for hiking and excursions, bcause it's in front of our free ski and line busses which will bring you to the lifts in Ortisei and Selva. In winter we there is no neglect of fun and entertainment with the swing full music at the apres ski bar at the entrance!
We were on a week's ski holiday in an apartment from Saturday to Saturday, but had a Sunday flight home, so needed somewhere to stay for an extra night. The Smart Hotel was the ideal solution as they offered an early check in for a small extra fee, so we were able to drop our luggage in the room at 8.30 am and head off to the slopes. The hotel really is Smart: the room was spacious with quality fittings and fixtures; the ski room was state of the art and the best we've ever experienced. We chose to have an aperitif in the bar and eat in the restaurant in the evening; the service was excellent and we enjoyed a relaxing evening with top quality food: the Blue steak for two (800g) was amazing - melt in the mouth! Starters were also delicious and we were given a complimentary fried sardine and salad appetiser. Fantastic way to end the holiday. A ski bus stop is opposite the hotel, so very practical too.

A very nice place for both a quick stop and a longer holliday. In the childhood I spent many holidays there and I still like to return there. After spending a whole day walking or skiing (in the ski resorts or ski touring on nearby mountains) it is possible to relax in a sauna, spoil yourself with the traditional food (I suggest the cheese dumplings!) which is magnificent! The family-staff was always ready to meet my requests. This weekend we came here with our dog. If he was able to use the PC, he would also give five stars (he got 2 delicious bones)! The rooms are very comfortable, warm and peacefull...we really could sleep well! The day after, my favorite part: the breakfast, with home made bread with marmelade and butter. (but also many other things were available). We cannot wait to come back again!
