In a dramatically refurbished stone winery/barn, this owner-operated restaurant has it all for food, comfort, and hospitality. With a superb wine list offering the best of the region, and food that is locally sourced, fresh, and inventive, this restaurant is sophisticated without being fussy. Incredibly romantic, wonderfully welcoming, it was by far my favorite dining experience in Alto Adige.

On my 4 months journey through Europe I had a few excellent dinners, but the done at Steimer was certainly one of the best. Attentive staff to complete the enjoyable experience .

This place is well-known for the variety of cocktails they have. They prepare them with a lot of care.The place is amazing, near an old factory in a valley between the mountains. I didn't appreciate the food, it was not too much in the dish for the price it had.
