I enjoyed good pizza and a glas of house wine. Both were fair priced, only the pizza was too thin to get full. The ambience of the restaurant and service were excellent.

We had dinner last week in this restaurant: good atmosphere, polite waiter, maybe pizza was not my favourite (too thin), but was good. We think that price was aligned with what we had, so at the we were happy of this choice.

we ate here one evening, during our visit to the advent market. Food was very good - I had an excellent Wiener Schnitzel with a generous salad from the salad buffet. Prices were reasonable compared to other places in Vipiteno, which is generally above average price-wise. Service was quick and pleasant, but the restaurant was not busy when we visited. It has an easy-going ambience and is situated off the main street. Would recommend to anyone looking for a mid-range restaurant.

Non è stata la nostra prima volta e si riconferma comunque un posto valido. Porzioni molto abbondanti e alcune portate anche di qualità rapportato al prezzo direi più che accettabile. I primi in modo particolare. Da fuori non si direbbe, ma hanno tanti posti a sedere sia interni che esterni. Parcheggio.

Die Hütte liegt am Schlusshang etwa 200 Meter von der Talstation entfernt. Zu Fuà nicht ganz leicht zu erreiche, aber der Aufstieg lohnt sich. Wenn man auf Ski von oben kommt ist es eh kein Problem. Drinnen gibt es wundervolle Pizzen aus dem Hozofen. Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

We've visited this 'Austrian-Tiroler-Italian' restaurant twice during our vacation in Italy. It is located outside the small town of Vipiteno but it can be reached easily by car. The atmosphere is snuggy and reminds us of a German restaurant, but then again, Vipiteno (Sterzing as the locals would say) is situated in the German-speaking part of Italy, Südtirol. The dished that we've had (Knödel soups, pasta, pizza, Schnitzel) were all tasty in big portions. Albeit it was far from being haute cuisine, the prices were very reasonable so was the fair service. Based on our experience, Thuinerwaldele is a place you can visit without hesitation. Good restaurant!

We have been going to the Pizzeria Bruckenwirt 2-3 times every summer since 1995 during our holidays to South Tyrol.Since then the seating and fittings have improved (the inside was all redone in 2003 in comfy wooden style) but since the very beginning the food has always been great, the service lightning-fast, and portions very generous (don't even dream of finishing one of the spaghetti dishes on your own).Apart from the great selection of Pizzas (see the link to their website), there are many pasta dishes as well as northern Italian dishes such as Tagliata with wickedly garlicky bread. To top it all off, the homemade Tiramisu is out of this world (nice and thick and not too sweet). The Pizzeria also brews its own beer (one of the fermentation stills is inside the dining hall).The view from inside and from the terrace is nice and dogs are welcome.It's "only" a pizzeria, thus the 4* and not 5*, but it is one of the best, if not the best pizzeria I have ever been to, consistently for the last 16 years.
