I have been there many times and all the time I have been very satisfied. The restaurant is in on the way to cavalese and has a big parking place where you can park. The food is great and they offer fresh and typical products of the area. They have a small buffet where you can prepare a salad. Their tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms are GREAT and TASTY, plus they are handmade. Last time I also tried spaetzle with spinach and cream. The coffee is something spectacular.

Light Mediterranean foods and regional specialties help make your half-board stay at the Hotel Zur Muhle a really natural experience. Enjoy your evening meal in our rustic "Muhle Lounge," and choose from our selection of 4-course meals (which changes dail
We ate a few times in "Zur Muhle" and every time it was even better than expected. The pizza's are original, very tasty/spicy and not at all expensive. Other pasta meals were also splendid, especially for the relatively low prices. Service was with a big smile and very fluent, even our children still talk about it.... You can sit outside, on a pleasant terrace, and inside in an old mill. Wine choise is very honest and cheap. The perfect place if you are in the neighbourhood.

I ate twice during my stay in the area at this restaurant. The service is gentle and quick, food is typical and generous.I would suggest Canederli in broth and the tagliatelle with Deer ragout.Try the desserts, all very tasty and abundant, prices are reasonable for the area

Had a great lunch here on a snowy day. They have excellent meat, steaks, etc. After your meal stop by the shop to pick up some ham, cheese, salami and other great treats!

Searched for a "typical" local place for dinner. The place was nice. Asked for a typical meal (cabbage, boiled ham, sausage, dumpling). Quality was fair - taste was **. (Perhaps it is typical for the region...) The local wine is **. The service is **. The home made brandy was excellent - congratulation (ask for the berry-based, red color schnaps, not the WILLIAMS)

This is a family run place. The food is good and the portions huge. It is good value for money. The food is cooked by the elderly owner and it is good. It is very busy so be prepared to wait.

The food is deeply intertwined with the region and fully delivers what it promises. We had different venison salami and prosciutto but the best of the night was probably a venison tartare. The Sauvignon Blanc Voglar from Dipoli was a perfect companion. For Primi's we had Schlutzkrapfen and some mushroom dumplings. Secondi's consisted of some veal cheeks braised in red wine and my son had the "Törgellen" menu which had a butchers plate which was enough for 2-3 people. We had an excellent pinot noir from montan with the meat.We also stayed for a night in suite for the 5 of us and enjoyed a great breakfast. Don't forget to pickup some self made jam.The place can be highly recommended, even when having some strong competition in this region. This little Restaurant (more of a traditional mountain farm, really) is somewhat off the beaten path, but the drive up the mountains and through the alpine woods only adds to its charms. Once there, the feeling of accomplishment and remoteness adds to the excitement of this culinary outing. The proprietor of the place happens to know my family, so the familiar and friendly reception we got as we bumped into him washing fresh, hand-picked herbs in the rustic water trough in the courtyard might be the exception, although I suspect it is the norm. The food was amazing. Really, amazing! In the slow-food tradition, the ingredients were of the highest quality and, seeing that they are all locally sourced, or at least sourced from small-scale producers, each dish came with a plethora of stories behind the ingredients and the recipe. At the end of our lunch, we bumped into distant relatives, who were celebrating a family birthday there. Four generations, all sitting in a traditional, wood-paneled dining room, loving the food and having a blast. The prices are high, but not too high for the quality of the food and drink.Since I've been there, I've recommended it to anyone passing through South Tyrol!

I've eaten here many times, been neither disappointed, not excited. Perfectly good for what it is. I'm sure I'll be back. No complaints at all.Grazie Familie Tschimben
