Drive from Mayrhofen direction Zillergrund. Leave the car at the bottom of the street leading towards the storage lake "Zillergrund". Easy walk along a beautiful little mountain stream. After about 1 h you reach the Restaurant Bärenalm. Authentic place, friendly, quick service and don't forget to try the rather nourishing "Zillertaler Krapfen" if you feel like go ahead to the storage lake, it will take another 1 1/2h recommended when weather is fine.

This hut has somehow magic feeling. It is really cute. Great for kids having all the swing, slides, fish pond and rabbits. To add to the touch, we had life music - one of the guys playing on accordion. The food was ok, but nothing specific to get excited about. You can take an easy hike if you drive above the hut. It takes about 15 mins to walk to it (good enough if you are walking with 2,5yo). It was very nice experience.

Friendly people and fantastic view with very fresh air.Have a beer and enjoy the sun...They offer also good local food , fresch cow milk ( not for me ) and daily menus.

Recently builded Alm with interesting interior which combines traditional alpine style with the modern elements. We ussual drink a coffee in the morning and Bombardino at afternoon enjoying beside the "camminetto- fire place" and friendly staff.

In attesa del trenino per il viaggio nelle viscere della montagna questa sosta ci è piaciuta molto per la cucina, il servizio, l'atmosfera e il prezzo.

Lasciate la macchina dopo Gasthof Waldhrue , salite per unâora e mezzo nel bosco e dopo unâultima salitina arrivate alla baita del cacciatore dove , davanti a un panorama meraviglioso , potete prendere il sole su comode sdraio e godere del menu del giorno : spettacolari costine di maiale , deliziosi gnocchetti , buona polenta con formaggio e capriolo e strudel di albicocche con crema o panna montato . Ottimo pinot nero 2016 Sandbichler di H. Lun e liquore allo zenzero servito in una particolare pipetta offerto dal gentilissimo e professionale titolare e da sua moglie . Ã stato un dispiacere abbandonare questo meraviglioso posto.

La nuova gestione ha migliorato il tutto. Si mangia bene con prezzi nella norma. Consigliatissimo la fresca stanzetta interna dove ci sono delle vetrinetta.

Dopo aver camminato un'oretta abbondante nella bellissima cornice delle dolomiti, io, la mia famiglia ed un gruppo di amici abbiamo deciso, invitati dall'appetitoso menù offerto da questa malga, di fermarci a pranzo.Appena fuori dal percorso principale è facilmente raggiungibile con una stradina non asfaltata leggermente in salita.Approfittando della magnifica mattinata di sole ci siamo seduti all'esterno sotto un grande ombrellone gustandoci il panorama incredibile del posto in attesa del pranzo. Per i ragazzi più piccoli c'è di tutto per attendere l'arrivo dei piatti e giocare: altalene, tappeto elastico, ruspa con movimenti idraulici per spostare la ghiaia, gabbia con i conigli, ecc.Dal menù abbiamo scelto un po' di tutto ma i canederli sono in piatto forte secondo me.Presi in brodo, con o senza contorno di crauti, sono da assaggiare sicuramente.Il personale è proprio gentile e servizi più più che adeguati.Se siete di passaggio fermativi, il posto merita veramente, noi ci torneremo sicuramente.Carlo P.

Val Aurina is our favourite trekking. The nature is stunning and if you are lucky you can see marmots. Cascades and cows everywhere. The last malga is Kehrer and we are always happy to taste their speck, goulash supper and strudel (great recipe).The service offered by this beautiful family is smiling and precise, smart and with a local, very effective uniform.We'll be back soon. Thanks.
