Unfortunately in this region English is not widely spoken. Neither are English menu available. It's more confusing because both German and Italian is used . I admit being embarrassed about my lack of linguistic ability but this restaurant in common with many does not try to help with English translations. The waiter was very busy and seemed to be the only person front of house. Food was good especially the mushroom soup and venison goulash ( thanks to Google translate !) although my daughter did not enjoy the dumplings, bad choice rather than badly cooked. Nice atmosphere inside and sure will be a hit during ski season as bar would be ideal après ski venue

Good food at very reasonable prices. After hiking it is refreshing to sit in their terrace and stare up at the mountains on both sides of the valley.

We walked there from Innerfeld and we had to go back by cable car because of the storming weather. Location is very beautiful but the place is more similar to a huge fast food than to a typical mountain restaurant. The outdoor service is only for drinks, coffee and cake. Restaurant is a self service with poor offer and poor quality. Food was very miserable. Sausages and potatoes salad were like in motorway/airport mediocre restaurants as well as an escalope with onion sauce and kraut salad. Service was absent and when a large sun umbrella (about 260 sq.ft ) was blowed by the wind none of the staff was ready to help guests. It's not expensive but I would prefer to pay more and to be delivered proper food and service. There are many other better places around. We do not recommend.

We had to ask 3 people along the way how to find this restaurant...even when we had finally arrived, set amongst a little chapel, barns and a main house, it was unclear which door to enter to find the restaurant - its hidden past pine trees and barns, local inns and fields...but worth the search...the food was really delicious - I felt like we were in someone's dining room instead of a restaurant...the service was warm and attentive. They prepared a special dish for my daughter. Apparently all the food is locally sourced, hand-made...I had past ragu which was exceptional. The views were beautiful...loved this place!

Beautiful valley, quiet, low key and wonderful, especially for families with small kids. We stayed the night on a through hike and enjoyed every minute of it. To awaken to the sound of cow bells in verdant, green, highland pastures is just too good to be true. The descent from Locatelli is pretty hard on older knees.

After a nearby hike we wanted a hearty lunch. Big, varied menu. Good pizza choices. Salad bar not particularly big but fresh, would not reorder the salad bar. However, the grilled chicken we had was 3 delicious grilled chicken breasts with big stack of good fries and grilled vegetables, lovely! We had a pizza, thin crust lots of cheese and black olives, quite good. Not high end fine dining but really perfect casual dining. Enjoyed an Aperol Spritz, perfect service, great atmosphere for couples of families.

Small, but very cosy cabin on one of the longest Giant Slalom courses in Südtirol. Nice terrace, good food and drinks. Surprising to see, that exclusively Italians are the ones with the worst ratings. Maybe they should bear in mind, that place they are writing about is NOT located in Italy, but in Südtirol with a completely different culture.

Be it summer or winter the Jora hut is truly a magical place. The evenings spent there are relaxing and heart-warming. Service and food is truly cared for.
