Chef's specials change weekly. It's not the same old German/Austrian/Italian fare, but a little fusion of all. Definitely served with old world charm. In season, reservations may be a good idea, and if you are staying at the hotel, be sure to let them know that you'd like a table for dinner.

We have stayed in Bad St. Isidor (the establishment also has some very cozy rooms upstairs) a few times already and always enjoyed their cuisine. It's simple but fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. The prices are very good (that goes for accommodation, too).

This is a huge restaurant/ bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Some staff are not very welcoming and itâs difficult to get their attention. I ordered the burger and it was OK. Large selection of beers but staff too busy to tell customers about them. All right for a quick visit but there are better places in Bolzano.

While strolling around Bolzano on a busy Friday evening, we happened upon this restaurant at the end of the piazza delleErbe, which had closed up the open air market for the day. The street was crowded with local college students, drinking, and catching up with friends. At the end of the heavy traffic area was Restaurant Anita. We received an outdoor table on a lovely night. Started with an insalata mista & a bottle of local Muller Thurgau white wine. My husband pronounced his pasta carbonara one of the best ever - large chunks of speck or pancetta, not sure which, and a heavenly creamy sauce with a golden color from the fantastic Italian eggs. Wish we could get such deeply hued yolks in the US! I had spaghetti bolognese, delicious flavor, tad on the dry side. This was helped by a generous splash of olive oil over the top. Service was excellent-3 women handling all chores efficiently and pleasantly. An enjoyable evening for 52 euros.

After being in Italy for a over a week and sampling all that yummy pasta....it's good to have a change. We loved the authenticity of this Bavarian style restaurant. You can still order pizza and other favorites....along with our choices of delicious Schweinshaxn and an Octoberfest dinner! Delish beer and wine too.

Our party of seven, was accommodated quickly and efficiently. All ordered different dishes, all were very good and the portions were good size. Service was friendly and quick. Location is on the main street up two or three blocks from the park. There is an outside area if inside is too crowded. The payment process is unique. Go to the cashier and tell her what you had, each couple did the same, then you can either give her a tip or leave something on the table. It all seemed to be on your honesty as to what you ordered, interesting. Food very good, service very good, we were not rushed to eat and get out. Definitely a place to consider if in Bolzano.

This elegant restaurant had great food and great service. The seating was comfortable, service congenial, and enjoyably for us, not smokey from cigarettes as were many other restaurants. The Wiener schnitzel and roast beef dishes were excellent and quite reasonably priced. We would definitely visit this restaurant again.Dear guest, thank you for your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our restaurant. Looking forward to welcoming you again on your next stop in Bolzano.Kind regardsPaula & Team Franziskanerstuben
