We stopped in for the toilets and to have a macchiato. It was one of the best in Italy! The women behind the counter were friendly and efficient. Locals come here so it must be good. Stop in here - it's right next to the church.

We were early, but had time to browse the menu while having a drink. Free snacks kept coming, perhaps because the head waitress felt sorry for us .It was threatening to thunder, but they let us sit outside, eventhough they cleaned the rest of the tables!When the food came it was plentiful and very good. The only negative were the uncomfortable chairs.

Had lunch here before catching Bernina Express. Really nice garden setting. Ordered fetuccini argue and a coke. Service was very good. Food was good, not mind-blowing. Total bill was 10,50 Euro. Portions were maybe on the small-side. Nice place to people watch.

Our restaurant offers both traditional Valtellina specialties or italian cuisine. It has a large terrace from which you can see the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Tirano and the Bernina Express during its transit to the foot of the Bernina mountainpass.

A very pleasant family-run hotel/restaurant. Both the hotel and the restaurant were good values and were perfect for our needs-catching the Bernini Express in the early morning. The location is very close to the Santuario Madonna di Tirano , which is really worth checking out, and having a supermarket across the street was convenient. Only negative- we had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. No big deal, but something to consider if you are handicapped. If the restaurant is serving the local specialty dish ââPizzoccheri della Valtellinaâ or the Braciolaâgo for it!
