The special item in the menu was called the drunk rooster which is rooster cooked in Chianti wine. And it's one of the best thing I've eaten in Italy. Also the buffalo mozzarella was really good and the prices are on the low side. Absolutely recommend.

We have been eating here almost every evening because of the great service from Mateo and his parents and the amazing food (especially the pasta's and the anti pasta like the meats and cheeses). They are great with kids (thanks for the drawing pencils every time Simon and Josephine can make nice drawings), price quality is extremely good and even the wifi works perfect. We can recommend La Cantinetta to everybody...For dessert it is great to stop by at " I â¤ï¸..." for the best italian ice cream only 50 meters further in the same street

Situated at the narrow end of the piazza near the Jolly Café this little restaurant serves probably the best Pizza in town.Great place for takeawaysBecause it gets busy its a good idea to preorder.Business is closed Mondays.Dining at home then this is a good inexpensive mealRecommended.

Informal and friendly place with a wood-burning oven which turns out a good pizza. Good antidote to the cost of the finer dining in the area.

We had gathering of 90 people before the evening of our wedding at Eldorado. The staff were very accommodating to our needs and were very friendly. The food they served was traditional italian dishes and they had a full bar. They played music through the speakers but could arrange live music if we wanted. Would highly reccomend.

Relatively simple menu (only pizza and few starters and pastas), limited selection of wines...pizzas in the many are only as pizza for 21 - and itâs really at least for 2 (initially, I played with the idea than I might take one for myself being hungry...fortunately, I didnât do it - itâs really huuuge). I wouldnât call it best pizza in Italy, but this place really is its charm, being small family run place, so if you get bored of âmushrooms, wild boar, truffles and long list great wines in the menuâ and you are looking for some place with simple menu, very fair prices - I can only recommend

From 1965 In the heart of Chianti, The Sfizio Bianchi offers the possibility to rediscover specialties that represent the classical flavours of Tuscan gastronomy. In a warm and hospitable place everyone can tickle the palate with genuine dishes and the tr
We stopped at Gaiole on an October Monday when the town was empty and many shops, etc. are closed. Lo Sfizio was about the only eatery open. We wanted an outside table and the place was empty, so the question, "Do you have a reservation?" was surprising. All became clear later when a cyclist tour group of about 20 arrived. At that point the three male servers decided to ignore us for the rest of the meal, but at least the pizza and wine had arrived. The pizzas were better than some, nothing special. Two pies and a bottle of vino for 45 euro was stiff, but probably expected at towns along the SS222. At checkout, the credit card reader suddenly was not working; we have seen this from time to time, so you can't do much about it other than be prepared to pay cash. There is a nearby ATM.
