Located in the middle of nowhere, ~30 mis from Siena, we found this restaurant in Trip Advisor on our way from Siena to San Gimignano. The reviews were great and the place didn't disappoint. Unpretentious service with AMAZING food, adults and children satisfied, from the Pecorino cheese appetizer, through Ravioli Ragú and Penne Arrabbiata, to the grilled pork and beef, all cooked to perfection!!! Dolci and cafe also outstanding. We sat in the nice covered terrace which was airy and fresh during the hot mid-day hours. Totally recommended and worth a deviation if in the area.

Was in the area, and was looking for something to share with fellow "tourists" off the beaten track, and leaning towards the more pure local environment/ savors and tastes.. and thought I would give it a try! well... arrived and it was full.. so was ready for a sorry we are full, and bye bye. instead, was invited to wait 15 minutes, which I thought well why not....After 5 mins only, we were shown to a table, and menu was given... yes it is local as basic Italian is helpful, though not necessary.. it was busy but service was efficient, and timing between dishes, put perfect for a more relaxed lunch Italian style. Pasta dishes. well no comment, an array to pick all with definite local tastes, with a no frills portion, and could not "not" finish...., and the house red wine...(I recommend) help us along. we ordered steak grilled , and I had wild boar, and a mix grill plate, and had to try them all--- boar and steak excelled! greens and accompanying dishes (not order to many!!! as you have to leave some space for desert) Desert to finish off. overall I can say top marks, yes a no frill restaurant, filled with from what I could see locals, government officials, and truck drivers, and.-... yes us in minority "tourists".. a mix that could only determine a good result, well It was in fact more than good! and the price paid I would determine it as more that balanced for what we ate and its quality and service. So do try it! but it is not the Hilton!!! so don't come if you expect to be treated as a tourist, here you are just a customer, a valued customer at that! treated as a local! and pay like a local, what else could one want! I can do without the tourist shenanigans, this restaurant in on my return to list! Local ambiance, local food, but I give it a generous 5 star. I have great difficulty is seeing how one could not be more that happy here... we were and I will return!

Lovely restaurant just on the principal square. 2 floors, with a beautiful wine cellar. Family owned, traditional and very comfortable. Service is fast. I had the best tartare of my whole life! Faraona was stunning as well. Definitely a place to visit if stopping in Colle!

Lovely little place for an authentic Tuscan lunch. We stopped here our way to another village and were kindly welcomed by the owner. After spending 3 days in Tuscany I finally felt like I was actually here experiencing the lovely home made fresh food, with the sound of the animals in the background on the sunny but shaded terrace. Nothing flash but just pure authentic quality food. Great affordable prices too!!!

In the old Chapel of the ancient Hospital San Lorenzo, building of the 1635, the restaurant "Sopra le Mura" offers to our guests typical Tuscan cuisine with all the Chef fantasy. Our Maitre will be at your disposal to choose the right wine among a great s
We stayed for one night at the hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant Sopra della Mura. A smile and a welcome from the waiter and waitress, a complimentary glass of prosecco and a small dish of pear and cheese got us off to a good start. We selected a Morellino di Scansano a Tuscan red perhaps less well known by many that the Chianti or indeed the Brunello, but every bit as fruity, rich and satisfying. To start the tagliere with a good mix of meats and a very moorish sweet pepper chutney, so we were cheeky and asked for some more. For our mains we both had the fillet of beef with a Chianti and sweet and sour onions, with a side of sautéed spinach. The meat was very tasty and tender; the sauce was tangy and rich. No room for dessert so we polished off the wine and went for a short stroll around the town. Lovely evening.

Very elegant decoration and extremely friendly staff. The food is very nice and creative but mostly with local and regional ingredients. The wine list is very elaborate and with more than acceptable prices. Will definitely return here!

We visited this restaurant twice during our holiday in Tuscany. The menu is kept small so that everything is made to perfection. We loved everything we ate and drank. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and helped us decide what to have. The ambience is cosy and quite romantic so great for couples but it is just as perfect for small groups - it seems like one of those places that locals would enjoy as much as visitors to the area. Would recommend this restaurant 100%.

Our house, it consists of four floors with a roof terrace and two private dining rooms, the main dining room, with a view of a Tuscan hill with great charm, Arnolfo Restaurant can accommodate up to thirty guests, a private room and a maximum of eight peop
The food is simply amazing. Everything we had tried very delicious and presentation of each dish is fantastic. Portions are small, but after 7 of them (plus 2 more from the chef) you feel more than satisfied. The staff is nice, very knowledgeable, good English. Wine list is super as well, and they have very good wines available from about 100 Euro per bottle, to a few thousands. The night before we had good dinner at Enoteca Pinchiorri, dinner is good as well, but you canât find any bottle of wine cheaper than 300 euro. Over all we enjoyed food at Arnolfo more than at Enoteca Pinchiorri. Very well deserved Michelin stars. Very highly recommended.Dear Mark, thank you very much for spending time to reviewing us.I'm glad you enjoyed Arnolfo Experience and we look forward to seeing you next time.We are very proud of our team who helps you everyday to express our philosophy.Have a lovely day

We stayed one night in the area and chose to go to this spectacular place and we are so glad that we did! The service was absolutely tremendous and the pasta was one of the best I have ever tasted. Fantastic local wine and cannot wait to return! We wish we were staying longer so we could go again. Highly recommended for excellent food, wine and service!
