The setting alone will take your breath away. The quintessential Tuscan vineyard with views in every direction. But then you enter the dining room where you are warmly welcomed by an attentive staff.The menu is small but with something for everyone. We started with the baccala bruschetta and a salad mista. Both were excellent but there is something about the freshness of the salad greens and their presentation that wowed me. Or maybe it was the addition of their locally produced olive oil. Either or, both appetizers were scrumptious. My husband then ordered the boar steak and I the tagliterini with truffle sauce, each rich in flavor in its own way but again home runs. We finished with the ricotta mouse, which was to die for. And if you are into wines their selection is top notch but the prices are reasonable.Al in all from the staff to the menu and quality of food our night was perfect and we highly recommend a lovely evening at Foresteria. We found this wonderful place here at TripAdvisor and decided to have a birthday dinner there tonight. The food, drinks and service was excellent. We had an aperitif, a starter, pizza, wine, dessert and digestif. Everything was perfect.

Lovely restaurant just on the principal square. 2 floors, with a beautiful wine cellar. Family owned, traditional and very comfortable. Service is fast. I had the best tartare of my whole life! Faraona was stunning as well. Definitely a place to visit if stopping in Colle!

We stayed for one night at the hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant Sopra della Mura. A smile and a welcome from the waiter and waitress, a complimentary glass of prosecco and a small dish of pear and cheese got us off to a good start. We selected a Morellino di Scansano a Tuscan red perhaps less well known by many that the Chianti or indeed the Brunello, but every bit as fruity, rich and satisfying. To start the tagliere with a good mix of meats and a very moorish sweet pepper chutney, so we were cheeky and asked for some more. For our mains we both had the fillet of beef with a Chianti and sweet and sour onions, with a side of sautéed spinach. The meat was very tasty and tender; the sauce was tangy and rich. No room for dessert so we polished off the wine and went for a short stroll around the town. Lovely evening.

Very elegant decoration and extremely friendly staff. The food is very nice and creative but mostly with local and regional ingredients. The wine list is very elaborate and with more than acceptable prices. Will definitely return here!

The view from Dal Briganteâs terraces is spectacular even at night and the service and food are fantastic. We arrived late after a day trip to Florence and the gracious owner was not concerned. We had simple pasta dishes that were cooked to perfection. Service was quick and very friendly. I would definitely recommend finding this restaurant.

The food is simply amazing. Everything we had tried very delicious and presentation of each dish is fantastic. Portions are small, but after 7 of them (plus 2 more from the chef) you feel more than satisfied. The staff is nice, very knowledgeable, good English. Wine list is super as well, and they have very good wines available from about 100 Euro per bottle, to a few thousands. The night before we had good dinner at Enoteca Pinchiorri, dinner is good as well, but you canât find any bottle of wine cheaper than 300 euro. Over all we enjoyed food at Arnolfo more than at Enoteca Pinchiorri. Very well deserved Michelin stars. This restaurant is beautifully presented, bright and cheerful, elegantly decorated with modern art pieces. We were warmly greeted with smiles and received great service throughout our meal. The food was very good, served with lovely dishes for each course. Their breads were exceptional. The Prawns with black truffles was well balanced and salt level was perfect. We enjoyed the Tortellini with gnocchi filling. But the Pork steak with beetroot sauce was dry and unexciting in taste. We should try other dishes the next time.

Lunch on Saturday and dinner on Sunday. Porcini Season, so specials all involved fungi. Great service. Nice wine recommendations from wineries @ 0 km. Beef was terrific as well as the cod with lightly breaded, almost tempura veggies. The service could not have been more pleasant. A well tempered evening for dinner. Definitely recommended for a lovely evening or a lunch.
