My wife and I decided to have lunch here after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. We selected a table for two indoors, and the interior of the restaurant is very nice. Unfortunately our ravioli and spaghetti dishes were barely warm, although they had a very nice flavor. When it came time to pay the bill the âWiFi was downâ and we were asked to pay in cash. The waitress was sincerely apologetic, but the owner who was 20 feet away never came over to us, offered us a discount or brought a couple of shots of limoncello...nothing. This place is average at best.

Itâs my second time at Sale Fino, Iâm from Milano so Iâm used to very good, high and fast service.First welcomed with a refreshing light Gin and tonic.Something that really suit in.***** Very good personal explanation of theire menu ***** Quality of the food***** Great selection of food and wine.***** Service!***** Atmosphere From all the plates, in my opinion, they are really well served, maybe could be a tiny bit smaller. I had a full 4 course and I wasnât able to finish it all.Tonight I had: Veal sweetbreadsSpaghetti garlic, oil, chili peppers, shrimps tartareTono caponataLamb, green beans, And I have to say, Iâll give 7******* to theme all.If I have to chose 1 plate to recommend more then the other, Iâll say the Lamb.- Served on crunchy green beans, I was not expecting the lamb to melt in so good, but a fantastic surprise. The owners is a very selective couple, Aliice and Claudio that have really thought about giving a taste experience over the average. The restaurant has its own charm, we first had a fantastic table for 2 looking out through a window, (really charming) but we where asked if we wanted more privacy when a large table of 12 arrived next to us.The importance that this gesture give me.TOP.If you are looking for that xtra, then donât miss out on Sale Fino!

Small and cozy pizzeria, tavern in the heart of Siena. You can taste, for lunch and dinner our pizzas and typical Tuscan dishes. In our tavern you do not pay your covered!
Went here at lunchtime - first thing is this is not a glitzy pizza restaurant but more an old fashioned Italian streetside ostereia. The staff were outstandingly pleasant and helpful and the surroundings convivial and typical Italian. The food (we shared a quatro staggione pizza and salad) was lovely - the pizza was the thin crust variety and cooked perfectly and ranked up with best I have had anywhere in Italy. The beer was cold and the service was excellent. In all a lovely place for lunch and we would happily visit again. Oh and the price - 23 euros for a pizza, salad and 2 large beers.

Overpriced and did not meet our expectations. The food was okay, but nothing special. Small portions, little taste but big prices. Owner recommended a beer, turned out to cost 8â¬. Definitely not worth it. Would not recommend, you can do way better in Siena.

My wife had written to the restaurant several weeks ago asking if they could accommodate vegans. The answer was "yes," and they came through in spades on the night of our dinner. Both vegan and non-vegan options were beautifully plated, and tasted wonderful. Service was friendly and professional. Dining room is very comfortable, and location just off the main square is convenient.

Itâs amazing that I remember a restaurant experience from nearly 7 years ago. My memory isnât that good but art and food help⦠I had a short time in Siena for a lunch but had an amazing meal in a restaurant that was built within an Etruscan cave/tomb. I remember the restaurant for the amazing scent of truffles and a piece of art that I love. Iâm glad I was able to rediscover the restaurant during this visit. The art was still there as was the scent of the truffles. Dinner was memorable as the gnocchi with white truffles and the Chianti Riserva were wonderful. What made the dinner even more unforgettable were two obnoxious American couples that were seated adjacent. They ordered one risotto to be shared 3 ways, one salad to be shared two ways, one rack of lamb to be split 3 ways. They asked for 3 baskets of bread, enjoyed the free prosecco but ordered nothing else. As expected the waitress didnât understand their splits and ended up needing to send items back to the kitchen. One of the women commented that âhigh-end restaurants donât make these kind of mistakes". If you are used to going to high-end restaurants, you should know better than to tuck your dinner napkin in your pants. I commend the wait staff for remaining gracious in providing service in spite of their obnoxiousness.Overall we had a great dinner and I highly recommend. I would love to buy the art too!!!

This hotel suited us in out road trip around Tuscany. It is located between Siena and Val D'Orcia and we stayed overnight before heading back towards San Gimignano. The hotel itself is built in the edge of a forest with wonderful views. Murlo, which is the nearby village is suitable only for the basics. We had dinner at the hotel which was satisfactory. This hotel is recommended for peace seekers or just a stopover in a road trip.
