We planned to visit this restaurant anyway, as our Air BnB was nearby. But after seeing it was #1 in Segovia AND offered a 40% discount, we were firm in our decision. We shared the asparagus starter and the roasted suckling pig....both were incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was warm and professional. We will go back to try tapas tomorrow.Book thru Trip Advisor for your discount (a few restrictions apply.) It saved us about 20 euro! Highly recommended, even without the discount. Wow!

I went there with my family for lunch, there is a set up menu with starters, 2 mains (fish and the traditional piglet), dessert. The food was amazing, everything very tasty and well presented. We enjoyed a lot and we will repeat for sure. Also very surprised with the price, including wine and coffee.Be sure you book in advance if you plan to go.

Doing some site seeing in Segovia province, one of my friends from Madrid told me to visit this restaurant. He told me I would love it and he was right. I went with a group of friends this past weekend. The weather was on our side so it made the experience even better. We got rice with bogavante (a type of lobster), a cheese plate, red peppers, wine, dessert, coffee and a drink, all coming out to be 20 euros per person. Also, I am a vegetarian and the peppers and cheese plate were for me. :) It's a splendid place to spend a Saturday eating and visiting.

We called in today for coffee and tostada, where we are based in Spain, the cost would have been â¬3.40, we were charged â¬7, when I queried the price the waiter was adamant it was correct and a very small tostada with tomato was â¬2 each. We wonât be going back, beware, check the prices first

Excellent food at reasonable prices. A much better choice than the classic tourist traps of Segovia city centre. The sucklig pig meatballs are a must. Portios are huge. Good choice of wines at excellent prices. The lady owner is adorable and always ready to help and give a good advice. We have been there the 3 last times we were in Segovia. It is just a 5 minute drive from the city and parking is easy. Just pass the centre of Torrecaballeros and you will see it after 200 meters on the right side of the road.

We arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant officially opened but were still welcomed and shown to a prime table in the then empty restaurant. The waiter had more than sufficient English to compensate for our poor Spanish and he patiently explained the menu. The continuing service was high standard even as the restaurant got busy, and food was better than average. Recommended.

A stoneâs throw from Segovia, this restaurant is less expensive and just as good as any in Segovia, renowned for its roast lamb and suckling pig. Itâs part of a larger complex that includes a hotel, shops, cafeteria, tavern, and gardens. As the weather was good, we sat on the balcony and had a simple prix fixe menu of roast lamb and salad, which was accompanied by fresh bread. The bottle of Ribera del Duero was modest but a great companion to the heavy lamb dish. For dessert I had a tasty local cake or âponche segoviano.â There is plenty of room for large gatherings, like wedding receptions, and the bathrooms are large, clean, with an ample seating area. The place is so popular that parking can be difficult.

Built in the 16th centuries and beautifully restored this is a wonderful place to try the cooking of the Spanish Sierras. Roast Suckling Pig or Roast Lamb. Take your pick. Very interesting fresh roasted vegetables. Great desserts. Excellent wine. Afterwards you'll need to walk ourside and look at the snow up on the mountain tops and see the flowers starting to bloom in April and just walk to digest the magnificent meal.
