Establecimiento tradicional en la Plaza Mayor de Riaza, mejor como bar de tapro que como restaurante.Comedor estilo rural '' años 70''. Calor sofocante, eran las 2 de la tarde de un dÃa caluroso de verano y no tenÃan el aire acondicionado encendido (lo encendieron cuando pedimos, pero en mÃnimos). Mesas con montones de manteles y servilletas a la vista (¿que les cuesta tenerlos guardados en un armario?).Carta con platos variados castellanos. Tras elegir una sopa, nos dicen que no hay nada caliente porque es verano.Gazpacho bueno, pero sin guarnición (nos dicen que ahà siempre se sirve asÃ). Lomo de la olla demasiado tierno, poco macerado. Excelente cabrito asado. Buen ponche segoviano y leche frita correcta.Servicio atolondrado que no sabe ni qué ni como responder cuando se les pregunta algo.Precio muy por encima de lo razonable para lo recibido.Por desgracia, esta es la tónica en la mayorÃa de los restaurantes de Riaza, convencidos muchos de ellos de que los turistas están para llegar , comer y pagar sin importarles ni el aspecto del comedor, ni la atención del servicio, ni tener al menos la mayorÃa de los platos de la carta, ni cuidar la variedad de la carta (no tenÃan ningún pescado... ya sé que a Riaza se suele ir a comer carne, pero...) o la calidad de todos los platos. los platos.Ni volveré ni lo recomiendo.

Best food quality and customer service in Riaza. The staff did everything they could to accommodate our needs as a large family group. The food was delicious and the wine really good for the price. Highly recommended.

We choosed this resto because the menu of the day looked nice and the interior was cosy. It happened to be the best restaurant in this trip.The restaurant itself is a pleasant place to be, with a nice fire.The servants are welcoming and helpful. We didn't opt for specialities à la carte since the daily menu was very convenient and with a proper price.I'm leaving the best for the end. The dishes were just deliciuous and abundant, with fresh products properly presented and prepared. It was a mixture of Spanish traditional cuisine with some international touches.The wine was surprisingly good for a daily menu.It was an amazing lunch in a nice cadre for just a few euros.

Well what can I say about this great little Bar&Restaurant so Spanish so friendly so good. Mum does the cooking and the daughter who owns it works the bar. Made us feel so welcome, well worth a stop at if you are on rout to Madrid. The daughter spoke quite good English and was very good at picking wine to go with the food. They stayed open late for us and joined in with us to a truly spacial night. The town of Riaza was lovely as well with a proper bull ring it was as Spanish as it comes every place we visited made us feel welcome.Sooo nice to hear from you again and sooo grateful for your kind words. A veces merece la pena buscar un poco. Y saliendo de los tÃpicos restaurantes de la plaza e indagar en tripadvisor no dudamos en cenar en este lugar y sinceramente muy acertado. Quedamos mas que satisfechos y el servicio excelente por parte de Viviana, la camarera que nos recomendó muy bien en nuestra elección. Todo muy bueno y buen precio.

I came here with my girlfriend and we had lunch for two. We started with mushrooms then we ordered revuelto de morcilla and judÃones, both excellent dishes at a very reasonable price. Then we ordered lamb chops and they were finger liking good. The service was impecable and extremely good. I definitely recommend you this place.
