We took a group of our collaborators for lunch to the Market today. We had coordinated some details beforehand but definitely it was thanks to Priscilla's attention and amazing service that we had such a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, service was great, prompt, and super courteous. Even having a vegan person have her lunch BTO, everything was seamless. This has been a nightmare at other places but most certainly not here. Thanks Priscilla!Dear Adrian,We´re glad that you enjoyed the food and the service of The Market. Thanks for sharing your comments, your opinion it´s very important for us. Forward to welcome you soon.Best regards,Ricardo Menendez,General Manager.

We are a family who owns a restaurant in our house :) We love serving people and our food showcase what we love to eat.
I have been a follower of this place and the good thing about it is because is all about a nice family place where you can have nice food same if you have prepared it yourself at home. They are coffee leaders so, do not miss the opportunity to try a good one.

On Avenida Central there are a couple Spoon Bakery & Restaurants. No need to speak Spanish as the laminated menu has photos. We both ordered a salad, mine was a Mediterranean chicken salad with extra avocado and we both had fruit drinks for 5650 colones. Next time we’ll go for coffee and cake in the afternoon. There were short intense downpours of rain and a light rain jacket and umbrella worked well. It was windy and chilly in the evening and we both wore light weight fleece jackets. Diesel air pollution was an issue for me after 48 hours in this part of town, so we moved out to the Los Yoses area.

Isolina is modern gastronomy in a place with history. We have a constantly evolving menu. We also have a wine cellar that has a wide variety, and our Deli, where we offer takeaway products.
So my gf and I wanted to go for a nicer dinner while visiting San Jose, and selected here. Nicely appointed restaurant with a nice garden patio out back (we asked if we could sit here when originally seated in the restaurant, and they accommodated us). They also have a very cool wine room up front you can ask to go see - do so. The food was presented very nicely, and was good - but not great IMO. The servers were very diligent and clearly they are trying to ensure their service is top notch. If anything, we felt a little rushed as they were a touch overly diligent. We came for a night out and wanted to take our time. The waiter got my entree wrong, which worked fine for us waiting 10 minutes for another pork belly. Actually was ideal as we were splitting both entrees. Had this not been the case, they should have offered to take my gf’s lamb back to deliver both meals at the same time. Worth a visit, but may want to clearly advise the wait staff you want to take your time with the meal at the onset if that is your goal.Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate the time you took to tell us with details about your experience. At Isolina we work very hard everyday to achieve guest satisfaction and provide them the ideal experience. We are sorry we did not meet all your expectations regarding the experience, be certain that we will continue working to improve.

Had a nice experience at this Farm to table restaurant. It is a beautiful place and the service was truly outstanding ... so attentive. The bread that came to the table was absolutely delicious. I am not sure if their food is organic or not, but they do advertise that it’s from the farm. I could not find much of the details of what that means but it certainly is a great place. I ordered some fish and it was just average although the sauce and everything was beautiful (it was a bit rubbery... I probably should’ve sent it back but I don’t usually do that). All in all it is a wonderful environment and I will try it again

Silvestre is located in one of San José's finest old neighborhoods, inside a house with a 1930's facade, where history becomes the story and XXI century culinary techniques collide with the origins of Costa Rican cuisine. 3 ambiances filled with art, grea
I took a group of 10 here on our last night in Costa Rica. My wife and I had dined here on a previous vacation and loved it. We all ordeered the regional tasting menu with wine. Everyone agreed that it was a wonderful meal and that the atmoshpere and service were exceptional.
