We stopped there for lunch, on our way through the town. The food was excellent and inexpensive.Although the location is on the main street, the atmosphere was good. There were not many customers and our service was prompt and helpings were very generous. We were a group of 4 and ordered a helping of each of their options and shared amongst ourselves. All the food options were good.I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

We had the best meal of our Salta stay in this place. No frills menu with good, local ingredients. They even offered me a second serving for free, who does that these days?

Don't mind the dogs and flies milling about. Try the chicken and baby goat "chivito" charcoal grilled while brushed with lemon juice. Salad "complete" also just beautiful. Owner mans the grill and will not let you leave hungry. Loved this place.

Sitting outside on a warm, breezy summer Sunday afternoon...drinking Malbec and enjoying appetizers...better than any place I could imagine in Napa. Recommend the grilled goat cheese with herbs and the lamb. Service was a little quirky--we had to ask for wine glasses, after having our wine bottle left on the table! But if you are in it for the food (and you can forgot about the cheap paper napkins) and for an authentic Argentine experience--THIS IS THE PLACE. Save room for the goat milk flan, with the best dulce de leche in the world.

We stopped by Oliver for lunch recently based on our guidebook recommendation. The locro was good, but the ravioli was bland. We also ordered a "jugo natural" (a carrot juice) which was priced higher than the soda and we assumed it should be a real deal. Not really. A glass of very diluted carrot like liquid not worth 85 pesos at all! They may excel in some food and certainly the location is right at the square but otherwise, it was memorable to us not in a positive light. It also has all the flies flying all over our food and we were busy fanning off the food rather than enjoying them.good afternoon, thank you for visiting us, let me clarify some points, the dough is homemade and al dente, that you like it or not is a personal question, the carrot juice theme, I tell you that it is not orange and water is added mineral, because otherwise it would be a paste, with respect to flies, it is a regional problem, we do not have fly breeding places, that is already a problem that the commune does not have fumigation campaigns, in the winter months there are no flies, greeting and good trip, thanks, disculpe por mi ingles

We stopped here for lunch while passing through Cachi. It is set on a hill overlooking the town. It has many beautiful flowers growing in the garden. The patio dining area was very nice. Service was kind and attentive. We had some empanadas and sorrentinos which were all delicious.

A standard Argentinian menu is served in this restaurant, all with style and efficiency. The food was very good and nothing disappointed but nothing exceptional or very original either. This will be ideal if you arrive late in the hotel and are too tired to drive back to town, it is however not on par with the hotel level of excellency.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews on TripAdvisor..a disappointing experience, the menu is quite appealing but we had to wait for more than an hour for pasta. We could see the food being prepared so yes everything is fresh but it takes soooo long ! It was good when it finally arrived but not to justify an hour wait. Wine was really average.Service in our case was inexistant had to ask for the check repeatedly
