I know very well Marina di Camerota and, I tried almost all the resturants there. I went to "Ammore e mare" 2 weeks ago and I had a very good dinner. In the resturant is written on the wall: " the menu is decided by the sea"... it's true!!! Very marine style. It's tiny and is better to reserve a table.

We're staying in Marina Di Camerota for a few days so looked up on trip advisor for a good restaurant. It told us Berra was the no 1 in town and it was so so right. I'm pleased we booked because the place was full of locals by the time we arrived. Absolutely buzzing ! My starter was Spagetti With clams. Delicious ! My wife's starter was fried Anchovies. Also delicious ! Then I had Wiener Schnitzel which was incredible the best I've had in 50 years and my wife fish Lasagne also excellent. A bottle of house white to compliment the food and the result was perfection. We are going again tomorrow evening !! The love and attention to good food and service in this place is so obvious. Siamo venuti in questo locale ,attratti dalla curiosità e recensioni positive relativamente a salumi e carni. Devo dire che è stata una bella conferma e trattasi di una piacevole realtà nel centro storico di Policastro. Un tagliere di salumi e formaggi più che abbondante , e di qualità eccelsa, accompagnato da zuccca sott'ol io e marmellata di peperoncino fantastici. Poi una grigliata di carni cilentane ottima e abbondante con verdure grigliate nostrane. Vino buono e che dire ancora: ci ritorneremo e invitiamo gli amanti di salumi e carni di fare una visita: ne vale la pena! E poi ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Delicious food! Lovely garden and courteous service. All this at a great price! We shared the house antipasti which were divine. We then had primi piatti which were both delicious. Portions were huge so we stopped there except for a shared tiramisu... We'll definitely visit again and try the secondi next time. Wonderful, highly recommended!

Today I have had an amazing dinner here in this lovely place on the hill of Acquavena near the Palinuro coast. I live in England but I come from Napoli - Italy and when I go back to my native town for holiday I like to return in my favourite places not far from Napoli. In summer time I love to go to the Cilento coast and in particular in Palinuro. In this area my favourite restaurant is U Trappitu: here you can eat an excellent meat that rarely you find in other places of the world. I strongly recommend to eat "Grigliata mista" which is a mix of different type of grilled meat. Here you can also eat a delicious cake named "Ricotta e cioccolato" which is made whith ricotta cheese and chocolate.

Ho comprato della carne da cucinare e le attese non sono state disilluse! Superba la chianina taglio Fiorentina, come anche le bistecche sempre di chianina (ma senza osso). Una brace non è tale senza il âporcoâ, quindi salsicce e pancetta anche queste di ottimo livello. Poi sotto consiglio del âchianchiereâ abbiamo chiosato con un poâ di agnello locale. La tentazione di assaggiare anche i tanti piatti pronti era tanta, ma poi ci siamo limitati ad un vassoio di peperoncini verdi di accompagnamento alla carne. Beh che dire. Tutto ottimo. Poi la passione e la cortesia hanno fatto il resto. Sui prezzi siamo in linea con quelli di altre macellerie in una località di mare ad agosto. CONSILGIATO
