What an amazing find. Honestly the best meal in Pompei the food was amazing and the level of service from Andreas was complete perfection. The wine was delicious and the care and attention to detail with all of the food was outstanding. Watching the chef prepare each course with fantastic ingredients was a real treat. Everyone here cares about the quality of the food and we were treated like absolute royalty. The food was also the most delicious we experienced during our time in Pompei with everything being freshly prepared.10/10Thank you so much to all the team xxx

What a incredible restaurant Garum is !! The whole experience was outstanding, the food is very tasty, we had octopus carpaccio with roasted nuts and shrimp with mozzarella as antipasti. The ingredients are simple and fresh and yet the chef created little magic ! We chose to share the primi piatti of the day, it was ravioli with basilicum and a cheese of which I do not remember the name, again delicious. My boyfriend and myself took each a secondari piatti, meat for him and plate of the day for me, it was sea bass. We were amazed and impressed once again. Finally the waiter, a very kind man, understood the discovery mood we were in and proposed us to choose the desserts for us. He came back with desserts made by a bakery from Pompeii (Gabbiano), we had a big âRocherâ and âmousse de cafeâ, what a delight for the sweet tooth and non-sweet tooth. My boyfriend being not a dessert person, asked a third dessert. The wine card is very big and diverse, we both had the wine of the house - white & red - according to the course. Finally, the service was perfect, we had one kind man taking care of our table from our arrival. He was very thoughtful and professional. Thank you Garum for the exceptional experience !

Heard great things about this restaurant from friends. Lived up to reputation and then some!Restaurant is split in two kitchens. Italian cuisine and seafood or pizza. We went for the pizza tasting menu at â¬19 each. Four courses of all things pizza. From a delicate pizza twist to start, with mozzarella and pomodorini, through main course pizza, finishing with three sweet pizza dough dessert. All different. All beautifully cooked and interesting. Loved it all, especially the dessert. Never had sweet pizza before. All washed down with house wine at â¬4 a glass. Smooth red, refreshing white and huge glasses!A great meal. Next time we'll try the Italian cuisine. Fab!

Read excellent reviews and decided to seek this restaurant out for our final night out in Italy. We were not disappointed. I can honestly say the entire experience was amazing, the waiter was so helpful and informative. We too had the best tasting experience of Italian food we have ever had in Italy or authentic Italian restaurants in the UK. If youâre in the area, itâs a must. A word of advice, itâs situated in a little shopping area off the main square. You can park for 50c an hour just down the road and walk back up. Iâve posted pics of the signage outside the centre to help. Enjoy

Osteria tipica campana, ambiente accogliente avvolto nel verde, con menu con prodotti tipici rigorosamente di stagione.
On Friday night we came to eat some gorgeous sea-antipasti, a pasta dish (Ravioli filled with Cernia) and dessert (chocolate cake and lemon pie) combined with an excellent bottle of wine. The service was very courteous and welcoming. We got the possibility to taste some flavors not yet known although we are used to eat fish. Everything was exquisite. Music, food, atmosphere, and furniture created a coherent picture thus we spend an unforgettable evening.

Dinner at Villa Palmentiello was an unforgettable experience. The first words of appreciation go to the Maître de Salle. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable! Well beyond knowledge. Putting passion, pleasure, heart and soul into his métier. The food was fabulous, presented to the most accurate detail and, as the dishes would come to the table, the Maître de Salle would be there, explaining the dish and giving suggestions. The wine and many of the products used in the preparation of the meal were produced locally, at the property, as this is an "agriturismo". The supporting staff were very professional and efficient, attentive to our needs and committed to making the evening a very special occasion. The view is fantastic. Our thanks and congratulations to the Maître de Salle, the Chef and the supporting staff for this unforgettable evening. Highly recommended!

This restaurant was recommended by our private tour guide. It isnât easy to find, as. It is in one of the backstreets of Angri, but it is definitely worth seeking out. Having a bit of an understanding of the Italian food language would be beneficial as the menu is only available in Italian & the owner does not speak any English. However we got by & made the best of it with a bit of guessing. This made it even more fun & we wer not disappointed by the standard of the food. There are fixed menus for 15,20 & 25 euros is you want to make choosing easier. The bill was also very reasonable as we had 4 courses plus wine & water. There are not too many restaurants in Angri but this is definitely one worth visiting

Fabulous welcome from Antonio, who looked after us so well. We enjoyed an entree platter, an antipasto platter, and a fresh seafood & pasta platter, accompanied by a bottle of his own white wine! All delicious and beautifully presented & served with a proud flourish by Antonio. There was a wide selection of fabulous desserts to choose from....I went for chocolate and my husband for a custard style slice. Yummy, both! Then Antonio placed many liqueur bottles on our table from which we were free to serve ourselves! I loved the the aniseed and my husband the limoncello! Very reasonably priced at 50â¬. I can highly recommend you visit Antonio
