We were staying with my husband in villa Sethare from 28 June to 4 July 2017. Villa has a nice view overlooking Salerno. It takes around 20 minutes to get to Salerno by car. Very nice and pleasant team, very special thanks to Georgio and all of the team! :) Villa has two restaurants and swimming pool, as well as the bar with snaks! The pizza served in the restaurant was the best one we have ever tried!!!! Very speacial thanks to the chef who was making pizza!!!! We will never never forget it! :)

Ambiente spartano, servizio essenziale. Impasto sottile e gommoso, alveolatura scarsa, la pizza, seppur non male al gusto, risulta gommosa e poco digeribile. Discreta qualità degli ingredienti. Nelle diverse proposte prevalgono quelle con la salsiccia secca piccante. Possibilità di ordinare un pizzone o la pizza a fette(una sorta di focaccia con bufala, prosciutto e olive). Possibilità di asporto e consegna a domicilio. Prezzo conveniente.

This is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten, I can't recommend it enough, it is a bit out of Salerno City Centre, but well worth seeking out.They have won more cup and trophies than enough, the pizzaiola has even written a book. The base is as light as a feather, and the toppings are tastier then almost any other I've eaten (and I've eaten some good pizza). Even when you think its all over, you must find room for desert pizza topped with fruit and flambé at the table, coupled with a selection of sweet liqueurs, cocco, is by far my favourite. If you do nothing else find this pizzaria, and enjoy.

Invogliati dalla promozione di The Fork (sconto del 20% alla cassa), abbiamo sperimentato il locale per un pranzo domenicale. Esperienza buona: il cibo è saporito, il conto è interessante e la promozione di The Fork è stata correttamente applicata. La location piuttosto anonima e l'esiguo numero di coperti fanno sì che il locale non sia adatto né per festeggiare le occasioni speciali e né per gruppi numerosi. Da segnalare la presenza di un parcheggio pubblico gratuito accanto al locale.

What a find - driving through San Mango Piemonte and stopped for a quick beer and pizza. This is the BEST pizza in Italy (and apparently this year it looks like it will be officially voted as that - about to cast my vote!)Lovely happy, helpful friendly staff, but that's not the best bit....Absolutely stunning, exceptional pizzas, I really can't rave about this place enough. My mouth is watering typing this... some of the best food I have ever eaten. Go there! And when you've eaten your pizza and think things can't get any better, have one of their dessert pizzas with nutella. Absolute heaven on earth. Avarage pizzas. Nothing fancy. The pizzas lacked spicieness. We only tried take away. The area is not well suited if you want to have a nice dinner.

So our first day in Italy and not only was the weather not quite as bright as we expected, but being a Sunday everything was shut! Drove around to several restaurants all saying they were open just to be disappointed. Luckily we found this little gem! After a slightly panicked look when we asked for a table in English, a lovely gentleman came over to assist us. He was very helpful, offering to translate the menu and recommend choices. I had the best pizza I have ever eaten! Simple, authentic ingredients with fantastic fresh flavours. Would totally recommend and will probably go back before our stay is over!

Our family at here as we had read the tripadvisor reviews and thought that it looked a good bet. We were not disappointed. The steak and grilled meats were especially good. We ordered the house antipasto as a starter. This was a superb collection of hot and cold dishes - sliced meats, fresh vegetables cooked to perfection and local cheese. I would recommend this as a starter. The setting is beautiful with views across the valley. We arrived at 8.30pm and were the only ones there for at least 30 mins, even the staff did not arrive until nearly 9am so don't expect an early evening. If you don't know much Italian (like us!) then the menu may be a bit of a challenge and the waiters don't know much English. It may be worth taking a translation app so that you can work out the dishes. Price was good value at 90 euro for 4 inc a good bottle of wine and 3 courses.

We were in picentino in june 2014. Good Restaurants are very very hard to find in this area. Price / quality excellent, great service, very good food in cosy restaurant. We paid total 40-50⬠for secondi platti, for two person incl drinks. The restaurant is somewhat hard to find; it is next to a fuel pumpstation.In the garden ( i guess) > 40 chairs , inside upstairs many chairs as wel, as in the ground floor 20-30. Very kind , english spoken bij the boss!
