We come back to this place every year. Food is so fresh and delicious. Our favourites are the fried anchovies and the fresh pasta âscialatelliâ with seafood. Yesterday we had the most amazing lobster with pacceri pasta! Prices are very reasonable too, not a rip off like some of them!

While the decor could be a bit more modern, the service here was great. The waitress was very helpful with my gluten allergy and for 3E extra changed out the oil in the fryer so I could have fried calamari. Also it was 2E extra for gluten free pasta. Many options on their menu are gluten free or could be adapted. They even had gluten free lager beer. Nice sandwiches and salads for the rest of my family. We felt very welcome here and would go back!

Must visit in Positano! Went for a late lunch. Amazing pastas, incredible seafood, fabulous steak, great carafe wines and desserts to die for. The staff is great and the owner comes to every table....such a treat! Slightly off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. If you enjoy walking it is a short 15-20 minute walk from the Hotel Villa Franca. You can either take the stairs (shorter) or take the road. Wish we were staying an extra day for I would love to go back again. Food all tastes & looks amazing at very reasonable prices. Highly, highly recommend!!

Treated myself to a solo lunch here in late September. Everything was perfect! Not only is the setting beautiful but the food and service is also incredible. My waiter Fernando suggested a meal of burrata, mozzarella and ricotta to start followed by a lobster spaghetti which was a special of the day. Fernando was very knowledgable and helpful so I took him up on his offer. He presented 3 lobsters to me at the table. I chose the blue lobster. He recommended a couple of ways he could serve it to me, for example grilled with vegetables, but I opted for the spaghetti. The food was amazing. The starter came with a bread which was similar to a pizza - it complimented the cheeses perfectly. The lobster was unreal! It was perfectly cooked - it was sweet but meaty. The service was perfect - very steady pace. Both Fernando and his colleague Luca were very friendly. They suggested for me a great glass of white wine to accompany my meal. My table overlooked a sea view of Positano. The restaurant is pricey but not pretentious in any way - very relaxed atmosphere. Worth spending extra - high recommended!Dear woodside27, grazie a million of time for such a beautiful review. The meal and service live up to the hype! Everything about the restaurant is amazing: atmosphere, quality, quantity, and pricing. It is expensive but reasonable! Had an appetizer, pasta course, two entrees, two glasses of wine, a dessert, and two dessert drinks all for less than 150 euro.

Pre planned sit down lunch for 32 Family and Friends. Timely service, beautiful presentation, diverse tasting plate, and a panoramic view to top it off. The kitchen and servers made us feel like it was a family dinner. Will try some of the menu offerings that were flowing out of the kitchen on our next trip.

Historical mediterranean family restaurant since 1965, featuring passion, authentic food from local ingredients and warm hospitality
I've taken groups here multiple times and the entire staff has always been delightful to work with. The kitchen is an efficient, self-running machine - so fun to watch. Chef Giuseppe is kind (no shouting in this kitchen! ;) and sisters Filomena and Fortunata are fun, informative and patient throughout. We like to have a cooking lesson in the morning and then eat what we prepare for lunch. It's such a lovely way to experience the local culture. And as we're rolling gnocchi or stuffing anchovies, we get to see the daily seafood and vegetables come in, watch all the prep and feel like we're party of the whole operation. The food and experience are highly recommended.

If staying in Positano, do yourself a favour and make a reservation at Il Tridente. The food was spectacular, the view overlooks the east side of positano, and the service (led by Liliana) was outstanding. Melissa (celiac, gluten free) were treated as if we were the most important customers they've ever had. They went out of their way to make changes to plates to make them gluten free, the homemade gf pasta is pictured. All in all it was a perfect experience and one we would highly recommend to you.Thank you, Andrew! It was a pleasure meeting you both on such a special occasion for the two of you.All the best for your future together,Liliana

The time of fresh figs is right now and 7 Farine makes it a speciality to turn a run of the mill pizza into a delicacy on pizzabread. This time, just like last year, they did not disappoint.I on ther other hand opted for a Black Angus fillet cut into strips accompanied by a portion of french fries. There was just room left for one of their delicious desserts washed down with a liiquer and coffee. Our friends were as impressed as we were and we'll be back soon. To be recommended.Ask for table 82.
