This was a business meal, we ordered several things to share and be able to taste a wider range than just ordering individual dishes. The "chuletillas" were simply perfect, the best cooking point I've eaten in a Restaurant, the "Gambas Ajillo" really special, and we tasted something that I do not remember the name, some potatoes with meat and red paprika that were really recommendable. Additionally the personal service of the Manager who is already old enough to retire was making the real difference.Applause for him.

Carnes ibéricas a la brasa de ganaderÃa propia en asador con barra para desayunos y tapeo y tienda gourmet.
Stopped here on a roadtrip back from Yuste, Extremadura to my base in Castile and Leon. It is located right next to the chruch in the main plaza, you can't miss it with its green banners flying outside. Menus are in both Castellano (Spanish) and Portuguese, so I assume many Portuguese come by here as it is close to the border. The food was quite good...I ordered the Bacalao dressed in tomato sauce and it was very good to say the least! I was expecting a little piece of fish, but I was surprised to see the whole cod come out, really pleasantly surprised! It was nice and flaky when bit so the texture was good. Bread was included and it had the interesting shape of a turtle (see my pictures) that was memorable, don't see that in any of the places I live!I also ordered a coke which was brought out in one of those original coke glasses. It tasted like it used natural sugar like the glass ones back home so that might be a plus. Service was prompt and efficient, so no complaints there. One last note: I think they charge more if you elect to eat on the terrace in the main plaza so take that in mind. On the day I was there it was cloudy, but on a sunny day, I might have sat on the terrace!

â¬â¬â¬.Traditional restaurant with elaborated local dishes. Doesn't look much from the outside, first place u see entering the town. Loved the hen soup, pimientos rellando (peppers stuffed with mushrooms and prawns) and solomillo de ternero con salsa de cerezas (steak with cherry sauce). Have catalan vermouth on tap. service a bit stately but best option in town based on the menus (we only ate here)

Local people recommend us Casa Senen for their menu (lunch meal from on Monday to Friday). The area is very nice and the restaurant is elegant. There are 4 restaurants closed to each others but this one seems to be the best. We booked the day before and we had a table outside which was very pleasant. The lunch menu includes starter, main dish, bread, drink and dessert for 12 euros! At week end or on the evening the same must be 2-3 times more expensive. We didn't wait for long to be served and the choice is very good. The desserts are excellent and many home made which is not always the case in the menus. We really enjoyed the food but I didn't appreciate the bill. They had no menu for kids so we ordered a starter for our son and water. They charged us for the bread that we didn't order for him. we were charged same price for him than for us and he didn't get a main dish and dessert. I would have found fair to be told that the menu was better value. We went to a different restaurant for menu too the day before and were charged for the plate we ordered for our son! If I had to recommend a dish I would recommend the brick as starter and the orange tart for dessert.

The interiors are interesting in a rustic way, keeping in line with the very well kept medieval township. The food is alright but I believe they could do much better given the local pork and smallgood production. A bit pricey for what we ate but still worth it.

The place is simple but comfortable and the service is really good and reliable. The food is delicious and well cooked and the relation between price per person and quality is acceptable. We recommend you to visit this restaurant, we guarantee that you'll enjoy it!

We went there by recommendation from the person where we were sleeping. I've enjoyed, despite the space was a bit claustrophobic and crowed - when the door, that separates the dining area from the bar closes you've a silent environment, but we went on a Friday night- might be noisy. The foods was really nice and the employees always friendly. I would recommend, at least once, to visit this space.

RESTAURANT IN BÃJAR A place of leisure and relaxation, not less than family celebrations, business meetings and friends meetings, as well as jazz and blues shows, it is equipped with the best furniture of elegance and consecrates its aesthetics to two rec
Amazing spot with great facilities. Outdoor swimming pools opened for 2 months in summer and great restaurant on the site. The bad side of the pool is the freezing water. Not great for kids to stay for long in this water. The restaurant offer a very good value menu for 12 euros included in it bread, drink, dessert, starter and main. Not great choice for desserts but good choice for starters and mains. Staff is very pleasant, very professional, they deserved a tip from us. Famous spot for drink and tapas but I highly recommend the menu for lunch. Simple food but fresh, good portions, can't be beaten.
