What a surprise. From the outside you can't tell what kind of place it is, but we liked. We ate 4 different kinds of home made, fresh pasta with very tasty salsas. Red root, cream, walnuts, pine and Gorgonzola to mention some of the variety. The locale is very colorful - definitely kitch! But stilish. Surprise is a nice way to give a good first impression. We are pleased that you liked our pasta. We take care of the decor of our restaurant: we always hope that our guests like the rooms of the restaurant. Thank you for writing this your review of our restaurant. We like to think that one day you will return to Subiaco. Best regards,Antonello de AngelisOwner

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. I had taken my friends to Subiaco one day to explore the monastery, and we discovered la Panarda. What an awesome discovery. The environment is personal and done with great care: separate tables in which to converse properly, beautiful linens, proper service with professional and charming co-owner/wait staff. The recommendations he made with both the food and wine were perfect. I would go back on a weekly basis if it were closer to Rome, where I live, but, alas, I will simply have to make more trips to Subiaco! I loved this restaurant. Hands down one of my favorite all time places. Thank you for being in this world for divine food.

We hit this spot by friends' advice, and we were so grateful! A little arched tavern into a lovely ancient building, four tables by side. Rosie the owner and chef makes fettuccine and everything else by hand, pouring the best local wine, in a fantastic athmosphere, all for a very reasonable price. We were looking for the real taste of the hills surrounding Rome, we ended up loving this gorgeous little town, with such beautiful highlands around, whose food and people is fantastic!

We have been returning to Terremoto (Earthquake) at Genazzano for many years. It was a favoutie weekend lunch spot when we lived in Rome. The antica ostaria (and it IS very old) is famous throughout the region for simple Lazio style cooking. Simple but excellent! The carafe wines are also excellent and reasonable priced.Terremoto is perched at the edge of a precipice and overlooks vineyards and this extremely interesting an picturesque town.

Really friendly, welcoming restaurant, tucked away in beautiful little San Vito Romano. There was no menu, but the owner/chef made sure we had plenty to choose from and recommended us the absolutely fantastic Buffalo Ricotta and Prosciutto crudo. After a few starters we ordered three pizza's, but weren't able to finish them all, as our eyes were bigger than our tummies. The owner/chef provided us with a 'doggy-bag' (pizzabox) for us to take home. The next morning we had an early trek to Pompeii and devoured the pizza in the car and it was still quality! After the meal in the restaurant we were given Limoncello in small cups, which, just like the main crockery, was all hand-made.Plenty of space inside for large groups/families without taking over the whole place and still seating available for smaller groups.

We spent the day on a wine tour with ViniCultural Tours and we stopped at this local restaurant for lunch. We had two wonderful appetizers and shared three fantastic pasta dishes! This was one of the best meals we had during our trip to Italy. The mozzarella was so fresh and the flavor of the sauce on the fresh pasta was amazing. We really enjoyed going outside of the city of Rome for the day!
