Very unique food (for Argentina). You should come here if you want a great value and good quality food. The food takes Argentina's authentic cuisine and adds a modern twist to it. My wife and I had the 6-course surprise tasting menu. The dishes we had were not always the same; that way we were able to sample more varieties. The ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. The portions were decent, and we were definitely full by the end of the meal. Wine pairings was not part of the menu, but they have a decent wine list. The service was attentive and friendly.I don't think it is fair to compare Almazen de Sabores to places such as Butterfly. The dishes at Almazen de Sabores were more of the comfort food variety rather than gourmet. Besides, the price was 1/3 of that of Butterfly. I think they are both very good restaurants and they offer different dining experience.We made the reservation by email and received confirmation with 24 hours. Almazen de Sabores does not take credit card.

We spent three weeks in Argentina traveling through the heart of Patagonia and this little place was on of the few true gems we found. We had amazing cakes and some of the best tea I've ever tasted. It's small and quiet, I was able to work on my laptop for hours without issue. It is run by the owners and you can tell they take very special care of every aspect of the place.I can't wait to return there on our next trip. Thanks so much.Thank you Anthony for your words.
