Fratelli la Bufala is in a side street, just off the sea-front. I went with a large group of friends so we had to book, but it's better to book anyway especially if you go at the weekend. It is a city-centre restaurant so there isn't a car park, but on-street parking is available. The menu offers a wide range of dishes, including pizza, pasta, meat and gnocco fritto: a kind of fried bread. The ingredients are fresh, and the food is tasty.The staff is friendly but the service is slow above all at busy times.It isn't the cheapest place to eat but considering the quality of the food and its excellent position, you can't complain. I have eaten there several times and no doubt I'll eat there again in the future.

Nice food and prices. Terrible service from members of the staff who don't speak a word of English and are aggressive and ignorant the same time (easy to be spotted, I don't want to point out). Also, the platform that has been positioned for those who wish to eat outside is located on the road with result the passing and parking of the cars to cause frustration and annoyance.

Reggio Calabria has quite a few great pizzerias - and this is another one! Really good Napels-style pizzas are the order of the day. The restaurant itself is nice - modern, clean, and well-lit with a plesent terrace. The service is very good and the staff very polite, but one or two of them could try on a happy hat from time to time!The one down side is a pretty limited range of beers. With such good pizza on offer, it's a shame there isn't a wider choice.
