First time a restaurant made me write about it.. Wonderful experience with great service and amazing local food. Tons of wines to choose from! Ask for selection of local bacon and cheese, you can even buy and take home!If you are near Faenza, you must enter the city even just for this restaurant.

Simply, our best meal in over two weeks of travel in Italy. I cannot give this restaurant any higher reccomendation. You eat downstairs in the wine cellar. It's hard to put into words how good the service, food and atmpshere are. Afterwards our waiter treated us to a complimentary drink at our table. As if that wasn't enough, we went back upstairs, met the owner and shared a glass of grappa with him. I know another review said this, but the best word that I can come up with for the evening is "magical". Very romantic.

We had a fantastic meal - different but delicious and the choice of wines and craft beers on offer was extensive. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the decor, comfortable with some interesting artefacts, the music playlist was an eclectic mix of all sorts at just the right volume. Our waitress spoke excellent English and was most attentive and helpful (and pretty!) We both loved it!

I arrived to the place around 9 pm and asked if I could have some food, having noticed that it looks more like a bar, to which I was answered that the place is a restaurant and I was promptly shown the dining room.To keep things simple and safe I looked at the shortlist menu and picked the "polenta" and a beer. Beer is nothing special, fancy local bottles one, and overpriced at 7 euros. Polenta was a disaster: badly prepared with plenty of cloths and completed with a sort of bacon and cheese topping. Bacon, supposed to be a special and very good one, tasted badly of mould, while the cheese, defined as a "special French" one, was, at best, a cheap industrial cheddar. Price totalled a unbelievable 17 euros. Only good note was the roundness of the (cheap) porcelain dish.

Welcoming and relaxing place to have a drink or light meal - especially on Sunday when you can drop in for a brunch. The atmosphere is friendly, with a good selection of local wines and the staff are happy to explain more about their choices.
