Take your time to eat on the beach, drinking nice wine and/or having aperitivo at coco-loco is always a great solution. Good food, great presentation, nice location. Booking a table is reccomended, especially during weekends or high season time. Good for families, friends or couples.

We eat here often with friends because service is good, there is always fresh local fish, vast wine list and the prices are honest. It's the restaurant where local people eat because the quality is guaranteed. Saturday and Sundays are the busiest.

If you are on holiday from the UK (or anywhere else for that matter) and near to the northern Ravenna beaches then this should be your primary destination. This beachfront restaurant has a charm that is frequently missing from most similar establishments that I have visited in Italy - and I have travelled all over the country for the past forty years. You will not find here the tacky, superficial commercialism of other bagni but instead a relaxed family atmosphere where you are treated very much like a friend or visiting relative rather than a tourist - indeed tourists are scarce here, the main clientele is Italian - always a good recommendation. The facilities are excellent with sunbeds, umbrellas, changing areas and showers - those with small children will be delighted with the abundance of play area activities and equipment, situated close to the bar/restaurant where they can easily be observed. The food is exceptional and reasonably priced in view of the large portions. The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection - the menu is varied and changes daily depending on the availability of a fresh catch. The pasta is made in-house and you can always find some truly delicious speciality, often from Sardinia - I recently tried the Seadas, a sort of cheese and saffron filled fritter served with orange and honey - absolutely divine. At the weekend during high season there are frequent evening food events with live music which have a real party atmosphere. The genial hosts, Barbara and Danilo take pride in what they offer to visitors and strive to ensure that your visit is a happy one - Barbara incidentally speaks very good English as do some of the other members of staff so if your Italian is poor you will not struggle to be understood. I have read the other reviews of this establishment and can only conclude that people like 'Ventoso5' and 'Mario C' suffer from the same insularity that many other Italians do and no doubt their rigid views are defined by their own preferred locales outside of which they rarely step unless out of absolute necessity. They are, however, entitled to their opinions but I would urge any potential visitor to ignore their reviews and listen to the other, and by far the majority, of excellent reviews.

Great pasta with seafood! We tried few other meals and were delicious as well! Staff was very nice and pleasant. Perfect for hot evenings to sit, relax with glass of vine, food and live music.Dear Martyneczka,We are happy to know you appreciated our cuisine and staff, and we thank you for your kind words. We take the opportunity to remind our customers how our tavern works: you come in, take a menu and a pen, sit wherever you want to, write down the number of your table and the dishes you want to order, and go to the cashier to pay. After taking your tray, cutlery, and glasses to your table, you don't have to worry about anything else. We will take everything to you. Our tavern is easy-going and informal, and we prefer to explain how we work in every reply to your feedbacks for complete transparency.Kindest regards,Valentina Gardini - Direzione

Letâs start the new season. Have nice spring and summer at ZANZIBARBEACH Marina di Ravenna. Si Ricomincia dal 13 aprile aperto ristorante a pranzo, e tutti i sabati e prefestivi dalle 20 alle 0,30 DISCO PARTY.
We picked this place at the seaside based on Tripadvisor comments and we were not disappointed: super fresh fish, friendly and personal service and perfect wine suggestions. Not a trendy or snobbish place maybe, but who cares to sit on plastic chairs when you spend such a nice evening?Dear guest, thankâs a lot for your nice review. We are very glad you felt so good at Zanzibar beach!we always behave to try to have such result with all customers.

After sport on the beach in family, we decided to stay there and have dinner. It's very practical if you have babies or kids: near the wood tables, there are some places where they easily can play tennis or football, while waiting for the food... The waiters are patient, smiling people and good advicers. The price list of the menu is fine: it goes from 6.50⬠for a pizza til 20/25⬠for a huge meal. If you consider at night, really on the beach, with great portions... It's very correct. As far as we're concerned, we ate a lot and spent 69⬠for 4 people, drinks, dessert and coffee included... Cool:)))Thank you so much for your visit and for your kind words! Really appreciated! We hope to see you back anytime!

the restaurant is very nice and has a lovely garden where you can admire the port. The menu offers a reinterpretation of the classic cuisine of fish Romagna. Wide selection of shellfish. Good quality/price ratio. I would recommend it.

Dinner by the pool, refined but informal ambience, fish dishes but not only, friendly and professional service, delicious cuisine and rich in quality raw materials. Marina Romea since 1962.
With this restaurant you can not go wrong! The menu offers a good variety of delicious dishes, the tables are arranged under a lovely veranda with a pool, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff are good humoured as well as helpful. The restaurant is good value for money from wine to pastas to fish and desserts.Locally sourced ingredients, especially the seafood of top quality such as the octopus and red tuna in sesame, are a top selling point. Regional cuisine polished with subtle touches of unique flavours. This is no doubt a restaurant not to be missed!

Having just spent 3 days in the city with 2 youngish children this was a lovely friendly restaurant / cafe. Costas our waiter was outstanding and we give all credit to him for us returning. The food was good (we definitely recommend the dumplings!), fast and tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed and helpful (especially regarding portion size for the children). We had pizzas, pasta, hamburger and chips and yummy small donuts! The photos on trip adviser are really old and do not represent the current updated decoration.
