It takes some driving skills to get to San Biagio Vechio but the reward is a magnificent view on the medieval tower of San Biagio and the hills arround San Biagio. The restaurant offers good quality food but is not excellent. It keeps the middle between Italian traditional cooking and some international, contemporary influences. I has a pasta stuffed with Sea Bass. It missed flavour and was ratherd dry. During our stay in Emilia Romagna we enjoyed several other less classy restaurants where the home made pasta was substantialy better. The beef tagliatta was rather tasty, the beef of average quality. The staff is friendly and the wine list is of a certain quality. Go for some of the exceptional Sangiovese wines, they are the most typical for the region. Prices of the wines are very reasonable. So, you cone here for the exceptional view on an evening with good weather. Sitting outside on the terrace is a must. Reserve a table with a good view on San Biagio. You don't necessarily visit this restaurant just for the food.

We had a small lunch here and we very pleased with the service and the quality of the meal. We had a traditinal Faenza salsiccia, which was delicious. The restaurant was very busy over lunch, as it is apparently a local institution and has been for generations. Marianaza is located within a stone's throw from the main Piazza del Popolo, just around the corner from the Duomo. The restaurant is not expensive. If you're looking for local colour, this is it.

We evry much enjoyed the visit to Manueli. You participate in the local life. The two evenings we visited, we seemed to be the only foreigners. We were called "the foreigeners" and our table seemed to have been recorded under that title. It says everything. This restaurant is the local place to be for everybody, all social classes mingle at Manueli. And Again you feel it. We went twice and twice we could feel the pleasant joyful athmosphere. Great! The rather big restaurant was packed. So do reserve a table. And for the food: well what you order is what you get. Pasta is of excellent quality and very tasty. You feel the love for cooking and the tradition and that is what I like about these places. I ordered grilled fish as a secundo and that is exactky what you get. No less, no more! So don't come here for creative cooking but for tradition, qualitative ingredients and the athmosphere. On wednesday, thursday and friday they have fresh fish on the menu.

Excellent restaurant. The bruschetta special 'a starter' ( 7 or 8) slices of bread with different toppings is very good. The pizzas are fantastic especially the 'Toro Rosso' one. Ate there several times. Will get bust between 8pm and 9pm. well worth a visit.

Simply, our best meal in over two weeks of travel in Italy. I cannot give this restaurant any higher reccomendation. You eat downstairs in the wine cellar. It's hard to put into words how good the service, food and atmpshere are. Afterwards our waiter treated us to a complimentary drink at our table. As if that wasn't enough, we went back upstairs, met the owner and shared a glass of grappa with him. I know another review said this, but the best word that I can come up with for the evening is "magical". Very romantic.

First time a restaurant made me write about it.. Wonderful experience with great service and amazing local food. Tons of wines to choose from! Ask for selection of local bacon and cheese, you can even buy and take home!If you are near Faenza, you must enter the city even just for this restaurant.

Quality without compromise If you're looking to save money on food, our restaurant is not for you. We choose only certified quality ingredients, because only in this way, we can offer exclusive dishes with an exquisite taste. Our famous "Chocolate cake" i
Is a good place. I have enjoyed the food but is a particular experience in my opinion. The service was good and the space is good. A bit pricey. 20 something euros is a bit for the standard. The 50% discount should be the normal prices.Thank you for you review. If you're looking to save money on food, our restaurant is not for you.We choose only certified quality ingredients, because only in this way, we can offer exclusive dishes with an exquisite taste. Our famous "Chocolate cake" is handmade with incredible and rare ingredients: raw cocoa, cashews, coconut sugar, agave syrup, vanilla, etc.All absolutely organic and of the highest level (not all organic food is the same). This is our secret.Only with excellent products we can prepare really healthy dishes with an excellent taste. We do not look for economic chemical shortcuts, these subterfuges (very common in many restaurants), we do not care because we have chosen excellence. People looking for cheap products will not find them here. This is our philosophy, you may like it or not.

Let your mind wander from refined, bright and warm atmosphere of our restaurant Cinque Cucchiai, in the shade of our old oak tree: you will taste the delicious fish and meat dishes created for you by our chefs, getting lost in the depths of green lawns, r
Faenza is one of the most sophisticated towns in Romagna, and its splendid 'Museo delle Ceramiche' alone would be worth a detour, if you are in the area. Until a few years ago, there wasn't a proper high-level restaurant in Faenza to celebrate the great gastronomic tradition of Romagna; now the 'Cinque Cucchiai', a name that descends from a typical dessert of the place, bears this honor. It's a very pleasant place near the 'Le Cicogne' and the Golf Club Faenza, which means that you can see the occasional stork flying by and the manicured greens of the golf club are easy on the eyes. Fish is a specialty, but we preferred to order classic 'Tagliatelle alla Bolognese' and 'Tournedos', both excellent and well prepared. The maitre and waiters were all quite nice and the place is well-lit and airy: the bill, at the end, was quite reasonable. The only criticism is that we came there on a Sunday at lunch, the place was packed (a sign of success) and therefore quite noisy, but this is only a minor glitch for a very nice place that deserves a visit anyway.Dear Stefano,Thank you very much for your wonderful review. It is always a pleasure to know that our services have met the expectations of our customers. The nature that surrounds us is one of our strengths: storks, which have nested in each pole of the Relais, the flamingos in the adjacent park and the squirrels that run stealthily on every tree are always a nice surprise. On your next visit we would be pleased to provide a small tour for you and your friends and better show you the full range of services offered by our Relais. We hope to see you soon!
