We spent 10 days in the Uvita area and this was our favorite restaurant. The dishes are unique and incredibly flavorful, the staff is delightful, the music is fun and overall it was a great experience. And we went in the rain so we didn't even have the incredible view, which can only enhance that experience!Thank you for your visit. We love that you enjoy our dishes, we hope you can visit us on a sunny day and enjoy the best views.See you soon

The cuisine is inspired by Italian tradition, using only local ingredients with innovative results that surprise even the most demanding gourmand. Here in Dolce Uvita, the ingredients are carefully chosen and the dishes created with the right combinations
We happened to come across Annasilvia, the owner of Dolce Uvita, in a community Facebook group, and she mentioned that she and her husband have an Italian restaurant in Uvita. My husband and I were looking for a a place to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary, so we decided to give it a try. Annasilvia encouraged us to select our entree in advance because they prepare everything from scratch. We were very grateful for the opportunity to peruse the menu at home. My husband ordered spaghetti with Italian sausage and broccoli, and I ordered Rigatoni Puttanesca. Prior to our main course, we were served bruschettas with three different delicious toppings on them. Then came our main dishes, and we were both delighted with our selections. . After the main course, in the Italian tradition, we were served delicious Caesar Salads. We were both very full from the main course, but I'm a big fan of Caesar Salad, and this one was one of the best I've ever had, so I managed to savor every bite of it. But it didn't end there! As a special treat for our anniversary, Annasilvia brought us chocolate cupcakes topped with rum sauce and fresh strawberries on the side.

I love a thin crust pizza and Tracey's hand-crafted pizzas are the ultimate in freshness and choice ingredients. The recent addition of ridiculously yummy salads and also the new lunch hours is a real bonus! La Ballena Roja is always a fun place to meet up with friends and enjoy a relaxed and festive atmosphere while eating super delicious food!It brings me joy that you enjoy my food and the space I've created. Thank you!
Came here while staying in Uvita Beach as after 10 days of true Costa Rican food were looking for something else. Everything was great from friendly waiter over to fantastic sushi and affordable bill. Would definitely stop by again.

Las Velas Restaurant reflects our passion for local, simple, tasty and freshly prepared meals. We strive to use where possible, organic, seasonal, locally sourced produce. This includes free range chicken, responsibly caught seafood, grass-fed pasture bee
From fresh fruit to fresh fish this lovely restaurant does breakfast, lunch and dinner well. I had snapper the night I arrived and it was so fresh I suspect it was caught that day. The owner, Thomas, greeted me and proved to be a very reliable source of information on wildlife and exciting adventure available in the area. You just don't find this personal attention in most places.

Loved the healthy options here, and this is one of the few restaurants in the area that has a nicer interior. Really, really good friendly service and the menu looks nice and healthy - lots of bowls with great sounding combinations. Unfortunately my poke didn't taste fresh, which kind of freaked me out. But I ate it and didn't get sick so that's good - but the fish component of my bowl was yuck. Everything else we had was great : My husband liked his quinoa salad bowl a LOT and the (seemingly, at least!) homemade gyoza we had to start was great!

Our goal at Carlito's is to provide a quaint and cozy ambiance where you feel like you are having a relaxed evening in your own backyard â except this backyard has palm trees and a starry sky â with spectacular drinks and delectable food. We really do wor
Great local food, tasty and authentic. I liked the chicken soup a lot and havenât seen it elsewhere. The chocolate tart does deliver on the promise. Friendly service. Recommend the margaritas. Broad choice.Very nice setting. Located on a bumpy road inside the village.Worth driving to this place.

Ballena Bistro is my favorite restaurant to visit when I am in Costa Rica. The owner, Liz is extremely hospitable and the food is amazing. When we are staying in Manuel Antonio, having lunch here is our favorite outing. The drive from Quepos is beautiful and the atmosphere at this restaurant is calm and pristine. I highly recommend the quinoa, kale dish but all of the food is delicious.Es una alegrÃa que siempre nos visiten, muchas gracias por el review, nos veremos pronto, pura vida.
