We went here almost daily to get coffee and a pastry - both sweet and savory. Great place for sandwiches, crepes and other small meals. Highly recommend.

We went here for dinner. They had a great selection of pasta and and lots of different pizzas. There menu had many choices. We decided on pesto spaghetti and a pizza. The food was delicious. Definitely the best pizza we have had here. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Great place to eat. Highly recommended!

What a delicious surprise at the Centro Comercial Monteverde. Not just sweets, but a very nice selection of tasty dishes. We ordered the Casadito with slow cooked beef. It is a creative twist on the traditional Costa Rician casada. The beef was delicious, the presentation appealing. And the waffle with strawberries, wonderful! Even vegetarian/vegan choices.

This is the restaurant associated with Poco a Poco hotel, this place clearly does not get enough street cred. The food is excellent; the cocktails are standard fare but well executed. The wine list is very limited but the wine is good. The menus satisfied the carnivores and vegetarians in the family and the food was fresh and well prepared and overall this is a great place to eat.

I had breakfast here and it was delicious! It was extremely reasonably priced for Costa Rica, about 6000 colones for a breakfast, two coffees and an orange juice! It has free WiFi and indoor and outdoor tables! The place is really cute and the owners were really lovely. They even let me practice some of my terrible Spanish! Would definitely recommend it to anyone and wish I couldâve gone more if I was staying in Monteverde!

A very nice place to eat in Monteverde. Great prices and service. The best comida tipica I have had while in Costa Rica! The staff made us feel very welcome, had good vegetarian food, and we were served quickly. Very tasty bebidas naturales :-)

Weâre staying at the Monteverde Inn, which is the same property as Cafe Escondido. The food here is so good!... weâve ate in town, and itâs totally not up to scratch compared to Cafe Escondido. Traditional pizza oven , fantastic views, great service and cooking from Gustavo and Helen .. I had steak tonight , and wifey had chicken fajitas. Kids loved it too. Romantic, with family or with pals for a few beers , itâs great!... thanks guys..
