I went for a special occasion with my boyfriend, they have very attentive service, and amazing food. I love sushi, and as of now, this is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant. The restaurant is quiet and cozy. The food is served quickly and is presented beautifully. I fully recommend this restaurant, I personally love it. Please give it a try!

We discovered this place after reading about their fall all you can special. We were hesitant since we have not been please with sushi places that offer this...but we were surprised on the quality and options this restaurant has to offer. The place is new and very spacious, the staff is awesome. A must visit.

Having heard a few good reviews, my family decided to try it out last night.I was immediately petrified when the waiter explained that the dinner menu is basically all you can eat for â¬19. By the way, I don't think applies to lunch, but not sure. Anyway, I my experience, nothing at an "all you can eat" restaurant is worth eating. But we were already there, so fine.I prefer sashimi because I am not a fan of rice, and I kept waiting for the waiter to tell me that the all you can eat part didn't apply to sashimi. But he never did. He just asked me to be sure to order small portions every time (small being 9 pieces) so that I did leave any, but he would bring me as many 9-piece orders as I wanted. And he did. 5 times to be exact. The only options for sashimi are tuna, salmon, and branzino, but that's OK. The rest of the sushi, rolls, hand rolls, etc, have a wider variety and are all of medium quality.Don't expect to find any deep red or purple tuna, for example. It is that half pink, half brown color that comes out after a couple days. But it was fine. I have had much worse in Pordenone. If you are taking someone to dinner that hasn't tried sushi before, this might be a good option as you can at least guarantee they won't suffer sticker-shock. Italians in particular are very attentive about how much they pay for dinner, and hitting them with a â¬60-70 bill might ruin the occasion even if the sushi was as fresh as can be.I don't think this is the best place in Pordenone, but certainly not the worst. I would return.

The food is fairly tasty, the fried stuff is a bit too oily, so I'd steer clear. They are always full and the staff is super busy and not helpful nor knowledgeable. Best to go on a week night.

just got back from a nice evening with a friend. For me this is the best Japanese place I've eaten at in this area. Very clean cut ambiente, friendly staff and really good food. We had tuna tartare, the big sashimi special plate and some mixed tempura. Excellent quality for a good price. Will be back!

The high quality, the freshness of the ingredients and the preparation on the spot will make you enjoy the pleasure of sushi.
We recently had dinner at Shi's based on recommendations from a friend. I made a reservation as we were told this restaurant is very popular. By the time we finished our meals, patrons were being turned away as the restaurant was full. The locale is decorated with a modern, sheik motif, having various dining room areas. Tables were set with straw placemats and wooden disposable chopsticks. Regardless of our reservation, we were seated close to the entrance and cashier/take out pick up area. Lots of pedestrian traffic afforded a limited private dining experience. There were so many people with dogs, I had to check to make sure that dog was not listed on the menu. There was indeed, an extensive menu highlighting authentic Japanese cuisine. The kitchen is staffed by Japanese chefs; not Chinese people trying to pass as Japanese. You'll find the real deal at Shi's and the food was pretty tasty. I had the Miso soup, edamame, pasta noodles stir-fried with shrimp and sea bass and a 12 piece order of Sashimi. The raw fish was fresh and I didn't become ill. My problem with this restaurant is that they bring your food to table all at once and the tables are very small and unable to accommodate the food. We were cramped for space and eating was a challenge. Service, for the most part, was friendly and efficient, though a few of our ordered items got lost in the mix. Waiters and waitresses spoke Italian and some English as they tended to our special requests. As previously mentioned, Shi's offers both take-out and home delivery orders. This led to a lot of people milling around as they waited for their orders to be prepared. Prices seemed to be reasonable for the amount of food we consumed and portion sizes were generous. If you are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, Shi's comes the closest in the area.
