We recently had dinner at Shi's based on recommendations from a friend. I made a reservation as we were told this restaurant is very popular. By the time we finished our meals, patrons were being turned away as the restaurant was full. The locale is decorated with a modern, sheik motif, having various dining room areas. Tables were set with straw placemats and wooden disposable chopsticks. Regardless of our reservation, we were seated close to the entrance and cashier/take out pick up area. Lots of pedestrian traffic afforded a limited private dining experience. There were so many people with dogs, I had to check to make sure that dog was not listed on the menu.There was indeed, an extensive menu highlighting authentic Japanese cuisine. The kitchen is staffed by Japanese chefs; not Chinese people trying to pass as Japanese. You'll find the real deal at Shi's and the food was pretty tasty. I had the Miso soup, edamame, pasta noodles stir-fried with shrimp and sea bass and a 12 piece order of Sashimi. The raw fish was fresh and I didn't become ill. My problem with this restaurant is that they bring your food to table all at once and the tables are very small and unable to accommodate the food. We were cramped for space and eating was a challenge. Service, for the most part, was friendly and efficient, though a few of our ordered items got lost in the mix. Waiters and waitresses spoke Italian and some English as they tended to our special requests. As previously mentioned, Shi's offers both take-out and home delivery orders. This led to a lot of people milling around as they waited for their orders to be prepared. Prices seemed to be reasonable for the amount of food we consumed and portion sizes were generous. If you are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, Shi's comes the closest in the area.

Tornata per la terza volta.Oltre alle 2 portate principali (gnocchi allâanatra e tagliata di manzo) abbiamo ordinato anche un tagliere di formaggi che ci è stato presentato con 3 diverse salse e composte da accompagnamento. Davvero eccezionale.Con una bottiglia dâacqua, abbiamo speso 37â¬.Tutto buono e personale davvero gentile e disponibile.

We went out to dinner at Da Bepo with another couple. The service was great! The food EXCELLENT! And they don't skimp on the quantity. We started with appetizers - shrimp over a bed of raddicio with reduced balsamic (fantastic) another was scallops - great! and steamed squid over polenta - excellent! Our main meals - pasta with mushrooms, one with crab - both delicious and the pasta was cooked to perfection! One person had fish (Orata) with zucchini - he kept raving about it. Fried mixed fish dish was lightly battered and didn't leave a greasy, heavy taste in your mouth. The grilled squid was also really done perfectly and very tasty. We had a bottle of white wine and 1/2 liter of red wine with two bottles of water. Coffee and liqueurs followed. All of this for 4 people came to just over 120 euros! Reasonably priced for excellent quality food. I would highly recommend this restaurant - the business lunch menu is also good for approx. 13 euros. Make sure to make a reservation on weekends! It is closed Mondays. Well worth the trip to Fiume Veneto!

Been going here for few years when in nearby town visiting. Every time is a wow experience, excellent fresh fish and perfect preparation; desserts to die for; professional, courteous, friendly service.. If not sure what to order, ask the host Sergio to build your tasting menu.. Enjoy!!

The food and ambiance is great in this restaurant, but be prepared to meet their extremely surly and high handed wait staff. the gentlemen who took our order seemed to be more suited for the police force, the way in which he rolled his eyes, and blasphemed when we made minor changes to our order while placing the order !the dishes we ordered came at different times, so some of us finished eating while others were still waiting. The wait staff seemed very eager to remove half the plates mid conversation. the food when it came was actually very good, no complaints there, but will likely never visit again for the poor service.

A very stylish restaurant serving fantastic food. Seafood and pasta followed by a perfectly cooked piece of fish. My colleagues had what looked like a wonderful selection of fish and seafood. Outstanding really and well worth visiting. Very friendly and not at all stuffy. Best restaurant I have been to in a long time.
